Artist: Rob Snyder
City: Westchester, PA
"Rob Snyder took the road back home to celebrate the release of his latest EP, "America". As soon as I heard Rob was planning a hometown release party in Westchester, PA , I told Rob they could definitely count on me to be there.
We got to the venue, Alibi's, early and had the chance to sit and talk a bit with Rob. In his personal opinion, this project is some of his best work to date and after listening to it, I would tend to agree. Rob has had the opportunity to sit and write with many different songwriters in Nashville and learn from each one of them.
When the opener took the stage, the venue was not too crowded. The closer it got to Rob's showtime, the more it began to fill up, nearly to capacity. Rob's set included a lot of his original songs as well as some covers from Blackberry Smoke and Gary Allen, just to name a few. Rob had been fighting a sinus infection for the past couple of days but you sure couldn't tell by his voice. He was on fire and put on one hell of a show that lasted more than 2 hours.
When the show was over, even though exhausted, Rob made time for everyone. He signed CD's for every person that asked and took photos with the fans, which consisted of a huge hometown fan base.
If you have not heard Rob's music, please go take a listen on his website. Rob is going to have a bright future. The music he writes comes straight from his heart. The first single from the new EP is going to be "Sunday Mornin' Sunrise". He is also working on putting together a radio tour very soon.
