Nashville, Tennessee (January 19, 2011) – While backstage at the historic Ryman Auditorium last night, The Band Perry took to Ustream to break their latest exciting news to fans. The trio of siblings, who have become one of Country Music's hottest new bands, are set to perform on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Friday, January 28 and The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, January 31.

In celebration of their Grammy and ACM nominations, The Band Perry will perform their Platinum single, "If I Die Young."

The band's next Ustream live chat will occur on January 27.

ABOUT THE BAND PERRY: Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry are a trio of siblings raised on Country, Rock and Soul – influences that they blend together as seamlessly as the rare magic of their family three-part harmonies. In April 2010, The Band Perry released a five-song EP on Republic Nashville as their first single, "Hip To My Heart" broke into the Top 20 at Country Radio. As they toured with such artists as Keith Urban, Brooks & Dunn and Zac Brown Band throughout the Spring of 2010, their second single, “If I Die Young” was released and started climbing the charts as testimonials from fans poured in celebrating the song’s inspiring message of appreciating the time on Earth that we’re given. The steady ascent of the single eventually landed the band at #1 atop the Country Radio Charts and "If I Die Young" is now certified as a Platinum single by the RIAA for sales exceeding one million copies.

The Band Perry’s self-titled album, THE BAND PERRY, was released in October 2010 and debuted at #2 (Country) and #4 (Billboard Top 200). As fans have embraced the family band, so too have their industry peers – TBP garnered a Grammy nomination for Best Country Song, CMA nomination for Vocal Group of the Year, three American Country Award nominations for New/Breakthrough Artist of theYear, Duo/Group of the Year, Video by New/Breakthrough Artist as well as aninvitation by the American Music Awards to attend as presenters. They will showcase their talents during the 2011 CRB “New Faces” and have toured most recently with the legendary Alan Jackson and are excited to announce new upcoming tour plans soon.
