NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 21, 2011) –With a registered company service mark, Music Worth Paying For,SM the collaborations and collective works of Better Angels Music and its affiliated writers are paying off big with chart-topping hits and platinum album sales.

Better Angels Music, LLC is an all-encompassing entertainment entity committed to creating quality music, offering in-house production, A&R, publishing and label services, and the three-year young company is making grand impressions. Ten songwriters currently reside under the Better Angels Publishing umbrella and are notably impressing their peers and the fans while being applauded by music makers.

On the heels of introducing three new Better Angels CD projects (Russell Hitchcock’s RUSSELL HITCHCOCK: The Nashville Sessions, Jason White’s THE LONGING and David Adam Byrnes’PREMIUM COUNTRY), Better Angels Music Publishing has come to the forefront as the “go-to place” for great songs. Better Angels’ writers have recently been recognized for their talents with cuts by Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Clay Walker, Jason Michael Caroll, The Roys (ICM Duo of the year 2009/2010), Russell Hitchcock (Air Supply lead singer) and more. In addition, Better Angels writers contributed to charting albums in both the Christian and Bluegrass genres earlier in the year.

In February 2010, Josh Thompson made introductions official nationwide with his release of WAY OUT HERE.  Three Better Angels songs were highlighted on the debut project that put Thompson on the map as a “Top 30” country music hit maker: “Beer On The Table” (Top 20), the title cut, “Way Out Here,” (Top 15) and “Won’t Be Lonely Long” (Top 30).

One year later, the duo, (former Better Angels writers) Thompson Square (Keifer and Shawna Thompson) made their mark to enjoy 150,000 in CD sales (February 2011) with their self-titled CD which also features three Better Angels cuts: “My Kind Of Crazy,” “All The Way” and “Let’s Fight.”

Meanwhile, Josh Thompson landed a spot on Jason Aldean’s MY KINDA PARTY with his co-write entitled “Church Pew Or Bar Stool.” Aldean’s CD was No. 1 on the Billboard “Top Country Album Chart” and went platinum.

Brad Paisley, a decorated song-crafter in his own right, wrote the majority of the songs contained on his new project THIS IS COUNTRY MUSIC--with the exception of three; two of them feature Better Angels Music (Josh Thompson—“A Man Don’t Have To Die”/Danny Simpson—“Toothbrush”).
THIS IS COUNTRY MUSIC debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard “Top Country Album Chart” and No. 2 on Billboard’s “Top 200 Albums;” Paisley celebrated CD sales of more than 150,000 the first week out (May 2011).

“Collectively, our writers work hard to create songs that, hopefully, will become career songs - songs with lifetime familiarity that will be around for decades, not ‘cookie cutter’ radio cuts that shoot to the top and are soon after forgotten,” said Rob Rappaport, President, CEO and Chief Creative Officer of Better Angels Music, LLC“We are pleased in the welcome and recognition that we have received from the songwriting community and the recording artists who are in search of great songs. We have talented writers and artists who differentiate themselves by being, first and foremost, music lovers.”
