Their stage presence is amazing and their original songs just are something that is needed in the music business. May 13, 2011 King City, CA Fair was the first time I saw them live, but I've watched them on youtube. I haven't heard such sound like theirs in a long time. They put heart in what they love to do not just for themselves but for their fans. I had the honor to be able to do an interview with Brian Curtis and let me tell you, I was nervous and happy. Things went wrong with the tape recorder so we used my phone....that went wrong too at the end of it but Brian was such a sweetheart about the whole thing. He didn't seem to act like he had better things to do *insert interview*. Curtis and Luckey opened up for Gloriana, two songs but I can tell Gloriana fans were really liking their music. Their music says alot about them, it's upbeat and enjoyable just like they are. Curtis and Luckey had a show on another stage at the fair and what do you know? The band is rocking out this place as well. People were dancing and having a good time, that's what Curtis and Luckey love to see - their fans rocking out with them. Although though they did covers, they did original songs. Those songs speak to your heart and others make you want to have a great time. Curtis is different from Luckey music wise, Curtis likes new country like Garth Brooks and Big and Rich. whereas Luckey likes things old school like Bob Dylan. Their two different styles of music work well together. They have that sound that you really don't hear anymore in country music. If they are in your area, take that chance, even though you haven't heard of them, because you won't be sorry if you go. I can't wait to get another Curtis and Luckey fix."
