FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wills And Team Showcase Shooting Lifestyle In High-Energy Program
Set To Air July 31 on VERSUS

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 21, 2011)—Award-winning Country recording artist Mark Wills, fresh from releasing the most impassioned album of his career last month (entitled LOOKING FOR AMERICA), celebrates the return of “3 Gun Nation.” Wills, who is an avid marksman and gun collector, signed on to participate in the show’s inaugural season in 2010 and is excited to act as host once again throughout the 2011-2012 season.

The “3 Gun Nation” season premiere is scheduled to air on Sunday,
July 31, 2011 at 6:30AM Central/7:30AM Eastern on VERSUS. The episode’s premiere airs regularly on Sunday mornings at 6:30AM CST/7:30PM ET and repeats every Monday (8:30AM Central/9:30 Eastern) and Friday (9:30AM Central/ 10:30AM Eastern). The program’s dynamic format features the match-up of novice and professional marksmen competing in some of the most action-packed and difficult stages of shooting.

“Most folks know I am a firm believer in our Second Amendment right to bear arms and I enjoy my time shooting,” Wills explains. “It’s great spending time with the guys and gals who are also shooting enthusiasts, but the main reason I participate is to educate novice shooters on technique, and most importantly, safety. Plus, it’s a program I would personally tune into to watch.”

The 2011-2012 season aligns with some of the nation’s “3 Gun’s” most recognized events including the Superstition Mountain Mystery 3-Gun in Mesa Arizona; MGM Ironman in Parma, Idaho; Adams Arms Ozark 3-Gun in Missouri as well as the FNH USA 3-Gun in GlenGary, West Virginia.

Each major 3 Gun Nation event closes with a dramatic, head-to-head, single elimination shoot-off wherein one winner will walk away with $5,000. Shooters accumulate points throughout the season based on match performance, and the top 50 are eligible to compete in the year-end championship following the FNH USA 3-Gun match held in November. The grand prize winner will take home a $25,000 grand prize courtesy of Leupold Tactical Optics.

The program, brought to viewers by FNH USA, Surefire, Federal Premium Ammunition, Cheaper Than Dirt!, Stag Arms, Ruger, Otis and the National Shooting Sports Foundation, allows for in-depth tutorials and interviews with some of the sport’s best 3-gunners while showcasing the unparalleled competition through a variety of matches nationwide. Shooting divisions include Tactical Optics, Tactical Iron, Heavy Metal and Heavy Metal Optics. With high stakes and higher prize money, “3 Gun Nation” promises an edge-of-your-seat season.
