Come out to THAT'S COOL in Nashville for a special benefit for middle TN flood victims. All proceeds go to Hands on Nashville and the Red Cross.. Nashville branch.
Admission is $10.00 and donations are welcomed. The award winning film, NASHVILLE RISES will screen at 7PM, then musician JULIE ROBERTS will perform, along with local artists Leo Castro, Beau Davidson and others.
About "Nashville Rises": Narrated by Billy Bob Thornton, NASHVILLE RISES tells the emotional story about the city of Nashville’s extraordinary response to the worst natural disaster to ever hit the region. This is the story about the power of the human spirit, and how neighbor helped neighbor to overcome tragedy.
NASHVILLE RISES is produced by Skydive Films, in association with Lavorsia Pictures, and IGBA Productions. The film was awarded the Tennessee Ground Zero Spirit Award for Best Documentary Short at the 2011 Nashville Film Festival.
