Country Superstar Duo Montgomery Gentry Highlights SYLVANIA Pre-Race Concert

LOUDON, N.H. (Aug. 23, 2011) -Country award winning duo Montgomery Gentry will kick start the SYLVANIA 300 with a performance during pre-race ceremonies at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sept. 25.

Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry of Montgomery Gentry exploded onto the country music scene 11 years ago, releasing more than 20 charted singles including hits like "My Town," "Hell Yeah," "Something to be Proud Of," "Lucky Man" and "Back When I Knew it All."

Their latest single, "Where I Come From" just hit the country charts, and their new studio album, Rebels on the Run, will be in stores Oct. 4, 2011. 

The duo boasts both gold and platinum albums, CMA and ACM awards, a Grammy nomination and several television appearances on hit shows such as Regis & Kelly, The Tonight Show, Access Hollywood and The CBS Early Show.

In 2010, Montgomery Gentry were recognized with the ACM/The Home Depot Humanitarian award for their tireless charitable efforts.

The group will be part of an excitement-packed pre-race concert prior to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series SYLVANIA 300 on Sept. 25.
