RIGHT ON THE MONEY IN MUSIC CITY

American Rock Icon Eddie Money --"Shakin'" Things Up In Nashville Song Search

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 21, 2011)--In anticipation of, and preparation for, his upcoming recording project, rocker Eddie Money spent the last two days in Nashville engulfed in song pitch meetings with some of Music City's most prominent song pluggers and publishing groups. With back-to-back meetings, luncheons and dinner dates over a short 48-hour time, Money met with award-winning songwriters, reps and producers who have scored chart-toppers with hitmakers such as Michael McDonald, Keith Urban, Bonnie Raitt, Willie Nelson, Sugarland, Ronnie Milsap, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Hank Williams, Jr., Alabama, Jason Aldean and a creds list including "I Can't Make You Love Me," "The Dance," "I Hope You Dance" and "Jesus Take The Wheel."

Celebrating more than forty years of making music, recognized by a wall of platinum albums, Money is credited with a string of Top 40 hits including "Baby Hold On,” "Two Tickets To Paradise” and "Take Me Home Tonight.” Having shared the stage with the likes of The Rolling Stones, Ronnie Spector, Styx, R.E.O. Speedwagon and Air Supply, Money has sold an upwards of 30 million albums.

With pen in hand, Money will take a break from his 150-date show schedule to return to Nashville in October to engage in a number of songwriting sessions. He has plans to record sides for the project in Nashville in the fourth quarter--2011.
