JT Hodges Presents the 2011 Holiday Howler Benefit for the Brown Dog Foundation

Hey guys,  JT Hodges just announced that he will host an intimate acoustic performance at the Gibson Guitar Showroom in Nashville, TN on December 5th. All proceeds will benefit Brown Dog Foundation's national campaign. The show will feature original music by JT Hodges, special guest Eric Paslay and one other special guest that will be announced shortly.

JT decided to host this fundraiser because of 2 things, his dedication to and love of dogs and special focus of Brown Dog. The Foundation assists pet owners with the cost of life-saving veterinary care for their pets during times of temporary financial despair. His own dog, Dax, injured his leg a few years ago and required an expensive specialty surgery. Luckily, JT carries pet insurance, so their portion of the bill was reduced but he knows that not everyone can afford pet insurance and that these are hard times for all of us, so being able to comfortably afford vet bills when the family pet falls ill or gets injured isn't easy and unfortunately the dogs must be the ones to suffer the most and the family know that they were unable to do anything because they simply didn't have the money. It's a hard situation to deal with and JT wants to do his part to help the Foundation by holding this fundraiser. Being a dog owner myself and knowing how important my dog is to me, I am 100% supportive of JT and the Brown Dog Foundation. What a wonderful thing.

Unable to attend, but still want to help?

JT asks that those in attendance make a minimum donation of $5 at the door and come prepared to give generously throughout the evening. Door prizes and gift bags for the first 50 guests will make this event FUN for everyone! Meet several of Brown Dog Foundation's grant recipients also! They plan to serve Irish Dog Bloody Marys and Yazoo's Dos Perros Beer. The server's tips will be donated to the Foundation. Additional giving opportunities will be announced throughout the evening.
