Joe Nichols has had several new releases over the past year a new album with great new songs but his most meaningful and personal release is due this spring, a brand new baby Nichols!
Joe and his wife Heather are expecting their very first child this spring, his rep tells PEOPLE magazine.
“After trying to have a baby for so long, we are thrilled to announce that I am pregnant,” Heather says.
Adds Joe, “I have to give all the credit to my wife — she has been a trooper through all of this, and I am so happy.”
The "Gimme That Girl" singer got his girl and married her in September 2007, although the couple had known each other since age 19, when Joe performed in her dad's Texas club.
Joe, a Grammy nominee, is already a proud father to a 13 year old daughter ,Ashelyn, from a previous relationship.
