Below are photos taken as the Oaks were in the studio putting together this brand new recording with producer, Ben Isaacs, and notes from Joe Bonsall on the experience of creating this recording.

"When Gaither Music Group first called us in for a meeting about a NEW project the only thing I knew for certain was that Ben Isaacs was to be involved and I was all for that. We all have so much love for Ben and his family that we just knew whatever we did would come out pretty good and we were ALL correct. Ben was just as stoked!

...From a creative standpoint we had recorded a bunch of good gospel music, and my feeling has always been if we have been there and done that we needed something really fresh and unique. That turned out to be just the road Ben placed us on.

Instead of newer Gospel, we would go really old-time classic gospel with an acoustic driven feel put to such songs as “You Sho Do Need Him Now,” “Standing In The Need of Prayer,” “Out of Bondage,” “River Of Jordan,” and so on. We also re-recorded the OAKS classic “Heaven Bound” and a terrific new song called “I Get To” which pretty much crosses ALL boundaries.

I even got to play some banjo on “Coat of Many Colors” and “Standin' In The Need” under Ben’s guidance (and patience, I might add).

So what do we have here? A classic gospel AND country acoustic driven collection of songs that fit together like a fireside chat - EXACTLY the goal that Ben had set on day one!"
