This is just one example of why we love the Oak Ridge Boys so much. In a world filled with much negativity and self concern, the Oak Ridge Boys are the real deal, genuine and loving towards others. I heard Duane Allen say this on this year's televised Christmas special for Save the Children and it really touched me. It's something I keep in the back of my mind every time I see or hear of someone in desperate, real need and know that all I can do help them is send up a thought and prayer for them. There are so many people in this world who would love to just have an ordinary, boring, good day. I thought I would share Duane's quote with you. I think the words are some we all might could use.
