With the signing of Scott, AStar further extends its reach into the realm of management and booking, making AStar a one-stop-shop for entertainers in any format, on any stage.

“Known for creativity and work ethic, AStar makes the most of every opportunity for both artists and events,” said CEO of AStar Promotions Frank Lena. “We believe Ray is a perfect match with his creativity, unique writing style and performances that engage audiences from all walks of life. He connects with people because he is ‘real’ and it’s a natural complement to AStar’s business model.”

Scott’s career as a global entertainer has taken him across the U.S and around the world, including previous appearances in Europe and Asia, as well as upcoming scheduled appearances in Alaska, Lithuania, Poland and Afghanistan. This fall, Scott will make his way back to Music City to performFriday, September 14, 2012 at Nashville’s Hard Rock CafĂ© kicking off the Ray Scott & Friends Country @ the Rock Concert Series where he will make frequent return appearances throughout the remainder of 2012.

With a voice that rumbles from the speakers like rolling thunder, it’s obvious Scott is a different breed of cowboy, combining influences from legendary country outlaws Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson, as well as the musical talents of his father, Scott’s raw and genuine songwriting led to a publishing deal with Tom Collins. His accomplishments include the Randy Travis cut “Pray For The Fish” (2003) and the Clay Walker recording of “A Few Questions,” as a title track that same year (which charted for 27 weeks, peaking at #9 on the Billboard “Country Song” chart).

Scott caught the attention of Warner Bros. with his honest and traditional country tune “Plowboy,” which earned Scott a recording contract leading to the release of MY KIND OF MUSIC. Peaking at #4 on the Billboard “Heatseekers” chart in 2005, the CD sold nearly 100,000. A year later, Scott and Warner Bros. parted and Scott has since released two independent albums--CRAZY LIKE ME andRAYALITY. A sought-after songwriter, his peers have applauded him. Most recently, Trace Adkins recorded Scott’s tune “If The Sun Comes Up”—the cut is featured on the Act Of Valor film soundtrack as released earlier this year in February 2012. Amidst his touring schedule, Scott is filming the music video "Those Jeans" from his RAYALITY project expect in the coming weeks.
