CONCERT REVIEW / *EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS* - JAGERMEISTER COUNTRY TOUR WITH RANDY HOUSER, RICK MONROE AND LATHAN MOORE AT CITY LIMITS SALOON RALEIGH, NC (6/29/12)

THE JAGERMEISTER COUNTRY TOUR
Venue: City Limits Saloon - Raleigh, NC
Date: June 29, 2012

The Jagermeister Country Tour rolled back into Raleigh on June 29 and this year was outstanding. What a lineup! The temperature may have been 107 degrees, but these boys brought the true heat. Country vocal powerhouse and one of music's best songwriters, Randy Houser, Render Records artist Rick Monroe and newcomer Lathan Moore took the stage and rocked the house until midnight. The show was fantastic! City Limits Saloon ALWAYS knows the artists that country fans want to see and they make it a party that everyone is invited to attend.

Lathan Moore opened the night. Honestly, I am not familiar with his music, although I do know his name and knew he had recently taken part in the Dukes of Dixieland cd with the Oak Ridge Boys. He put on a great show with a set consisting of himself and his guitar. Those are the sets I love the most. Lathan has very smooth vocals and a great stage presence. Pay attention to this guy,  you're gonna be hearing more from him soon!

One of our favorite new artists and friends, Rick Monroe, was the second performer of the night and MAN can he rock a stage! Wow! His set was very energetic, amped up and you could literally feel the speakers blowing your hair with every beat of the drums! Rick Monroe brings a quiet room to life, making people get off their feet and move. Check out his latest EP on iTunes along with his new single, "Crazy Not To".

Randy Houser ... where to even begin other than we've been waiting since February 2011 for him to make a return to City Limits. His shows are amazing! He heated things up with songs like "Whistlin' Dixie" and "Boots On" and then cooled it down to a sexy simmer with his hit "Anything Goes". He also covered "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd and in my opinion, sounded better than the original! Yes, I said it and I meant it. Pure raw vocal power, that's what Randy is. He sings it the way HE wants to sing it, sings what HE wants to sing and the crowd loves that about him. Randy is pure 100% unapologetic to the bone country.

GREAT SHOW!
