NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 18, 2012) – Buddy Lee Attractions, Inc., in association with Evan Williams Bourbon and B.A.S.S., proudly announces the launch of its premiere country and southern rock talent competition, BANDS, BOURBON & B.A.S.S.
In an era filled with talent searches, contests and competitions, theBands, Bourbon & B.A.S.S. talent search stands in a category all its own, spearheaded by one of the oldest and most reputable talent agencies in the world, Buddy Lee Attractions, Inc.
In a quest to discover and reveal great country and/or southern rock entertainers to the masses, the Bands, Bourbon & B.A.S.S. talent search invites solo artists and bands nationwide to submit their materials for the chance to become one of five finalists to take center stage in A-1 professional style.
Finalists (selected by the Bands, Bourbon & B.A.S.S. Selection Committee comprised of music and entertainment industry executives with years of combined experience and expertise) will compete for the grand prize token in a head-to-head musical competition scheduled to be held at the world famous Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, TN on Thursday, September 6, 2012 (6:00-9:00PM). Moving the best talent forward,
entrants will be judged on showmanship, musicianship and vocal abilities.
The first place winner of Bands, Bourbon & B.A.S.S. will be entitled to a professional photo shoot in Nashville, TN and the opportunity to open for the RCA/Sony recording artists Bush Hawg at the Evan Williams Bourbon All-Star Championship Tournament in late September.
“We see extraordinary talent come and go on Music Row, and this talent search was created to give artist hopefuls the chance to be seen and heard…and treated like an ‘artist for a day’,” explains Donna Lee, Vice President & General Manager/Buddy Lee Attractions. “We are proud to partner with two visionaries – Evan Williams Bourbon and B.A.S.S. (organizations that strive to support young talent) and we are excited to discover hidden treasures.”
In addition to stepping into the opening act spotlight at the Evan Williams Bourbon All-Star Championship Tournament in Decatur, IL, the winner will also be awarded a $1,000 cash prize, hotel and hospitality arrangements provided, and day-of-show support including a road manager and event photographer. Second and Third Place winners will receive cash prizes of $500 and $250 respectively.
Eligibility:
Entrants must be U.S. Citizens 21 years of age or older. Talent must not be signed to major record deal, management or booking agency. Talent must not have a sponsorship competing with Evan Williams Bourbon or B.A.S.S.
Entry Fee: $75.00 (payable by Cashier’s Check only)
