NRA COUNTRY “BUCKETS AND BOOTS” CONCERT RAISES MORE THAN $800,000 FOR COMMUNITY IN NEED

Nashville, TN… (June 28, 2012)…Some of country music’s finest talents came out to perform at the 2nd Annual “Buckets And Boots” concert, sponsored by NRA Country, benefiting the Palo Pinto Fire department. This year’s concert raised more than $350,000, bringing the two-year total benefit to more than $800,000.

“Coming together and helping to rebuild is simply us showing our appreciation for the true heroic daily dedication given by these men and women,” declared performer Stoney LaRue.

The star-studded show took place Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the beautiful Rocker B Ranch in Graford, Texas. This year's lineup included Robert Earl Keen, Charlie Robison, Cody Canada, Stoney LaRue, Mickey & the Motorcars, Hudson Moore, Ryan Turner, Bobby Duncan, The Rusty Brothers and the Manderly St. Band. The monies raised go to help the Palo Pinto community that was devastated by the 2011 wildfires in Texas which destroyed over one and half million acres of land in the area in addition to countless homes and other community buildings.

“This event allows Palo Pinto's fire departments to meet its goals. As a 100-percent volunteer organization, we rely solely on our community to function. We can't do what we do without the support from ‘Buckets and Boots’ and for that we are truly grateful,” stated Possom Kingdom Lake Fire Chief Ronnie Ranft.
