PHIL VASSAR SET TO HEADLINE TITANS PARTY STAGE

Home Game Performances to Include Special Guests

(Nashville, Tennessee...) -The Tennessee Titans and Phil Vassar are teaming up to revolutionize the game day experience at LP Field, and show NFL fans that WE ARE MUSIC CITY. Vassar and his band have signed on to whip football fans into a frenzy on the new Titans Party Stage at LP Field for every home game this season.

"We're bringing together two of my favorite things - music and football," said Vassar. "I've been in Nashville for 20 years, and I feel like this is my hometown. I've been a Titans fan since they first came to Tennessee, and they are my team. We're excited about getting out there to rock the fans, and set the stage for the Titans to take over."

This offseason the Titans made significant upgrades to LP Field, including the addition of a performance stage under the new video board in the north end zone. At every Titans home game, the award-winning singer/songwriter/piano-slinging madman and his band will entertain fans prior to kickoff, during selected breaks and during half-time.

"We really wanted to improve the fan's experience at LP Field and tried to set Nashville apart from any other NFL venue," said Tracy Holliday, Titans Event Coordinator. "The obvious choice was music, so we added the stage to give Titans fans an even more enjoyable atmosphere on game days. Phil was the perfect choice to head up this entertainment because he has incredible talent and energy on stage."

In addition to Phil and his band playing chart-topping songs he's written for himself or other artists, he will also be tapping into the vast resources of Nashville's music scene and inviting artists from rock, pop and other genres to join him on stage to entertain the crowds. "We have one of the best talent pools in the world to bring up special guests. We're going to throw out a great selection of different music at every game," he said. "They have a killer new sound system at LP Field, and we're gonna 'turn it up'!"
