MUSIC CITY’S SARAH DARLING MEETS BASEBALL’S DARLING

Nashville, TN…(October 1, 2012)… Black River Entertainment’s Sarah Darling caught up with R.A. Dickey of the New York Mets at Citi Field on Sunday, September 23 before taking the field herself.

Affectionately called “Music City’s Newest Darling,” Nashville local Sarah Darling performed her new single, “Home To Me,” and the Beatles classic, “Blackbird,” prior to the Mets’ 3-2 victory over the Miami Marlins.  Sarah also performed “God Bless America” during the famed seventh-inning stretch.

Also a Nashvillian, Dickey attended the University of Tennessee as an English literature major, is a best selling author and won his 20th game of the season in the 6-5 win against the Pittsburgh Pirates on September 27.  He remains a likely candidate for the 2012 NL Cy Young Award after rejuvenating his career by switching to the knuckleball as his primary pitch.

Over the same weekend, "Home To Me" made its national debut on Fox & Friends Weekend as one of two songs Sarah performed on Saturday, September 22.  Fans of Sarah Darling can visit www.foxnews.com to watch both the "Home to Me" and “Old T-Shirt” performances.  In addition, fans can purchase “Home To Me” on iTunes and view the lyric video on YouTube.

“Home To Me,” written by Caitlyn Smith & Bobby Hamrick, is a breezy mid-tempo track that takes the listener on a lyrical journey comparing her love interest to the beauty of America’s landscape as she finds “home” in that person.
