NASHVILLE, TN – (October  2, 2012) – For Texas recording artist and Austin native Kyle Park the night is just beginning with the release of his new single “The Night Is Young” to iTunes and select digital retailers today, October 2. The song has already hit the Texas radio airwaves this month.

Co-written by Park and Thom Shepherd, the “The Night Is Young” uses restless, U2-style guitar sounds, unexpected chord changes and a brash, engaging chorus to seduce the audience into singing along with this anthem about being young, carefree and taking a chance on a new relationship.

"Writing 'The Night Is Young' was such a fun and memorable experience. From the moment the chorus was finished, I knew it was catchy,” said Park. “I’ve been playing it live and it's a great feeling to see fans singing along before it has even been released. This is easily one of my favorite songs I've ever recorded. I'm so excited to be this much closer to releasing my fourth album!"

“The Night Is Young” is the first offering from Park’s upcoming fourth full-length studio album, produced by Park himself and expected for release in 2013. Currently, Park is out on the road visiting radio and playing shows all across the Lone Star State in support of the new single with upcoming dates in Winnie, TX (10/3), Nacogdoches, TX (10/4), Waco, TX (10/5) and Rosenberg, TX (10/6).

Park is anything but new to the Texas music scene. His debut album was released in 2005 and since then, Park has not slowed down. Using unconventional methods, Park decided to release two EPs in 2010 and allowed fans to choose songs for the following album, Make Me Or Break Me which was released in 2011. With the title track as the single, it earned Park a No. 3 spot on the Texas Music Chart and the song stayed in the Top 10 for over six weeks. As with any Top 10 song, a top-notch live show is a must. It’s no coincidence Park has developed an audience big enough that his name is now on the back wall at Billy Bob’s Texas, right alongside Pat Green, Blake Shelton, Alabama, Brad Paisley and Tim McGraw.
