Proceeds To Benefit The Boot Campaign
NASHVILLE, TN – (November 8, 2012) - Newcomer Joe Bachman is paying it forward this Veteran’s Day with the release of his new song “Soldier’s Memoir” to select digital retailers. Written by Bachman and Mitch Rossell, this powerful and emotional song is his personal thank you to the Armed Forces for their dedication and sacrifice. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Boot Campaign, a non-profit which funds its programs working to heal both physical and emotional issues facing returning warriors.
"A dear friend of mine is a Psychiatrist in the U.S. Navy," shares Bachman. "He explained to me how he spends hours a day trying to help his fellow Troops cope with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I wanted to write a song to let our members of the Armed Forces know that we understand what they are going through and we're here to help. It's a topic not easily spoken about and I wanted to let them know that we understand their internal struggles and we want to be here for them in any way we can."
Bachman is currently on radio tour in support of his debut single "Small Town Rock Stars." The song is the lead single from his debut album, one, co-produced by Arlis Albritton and New Voice Entertainment, now available at select digital retailers. His dynamic live shows have landed him sought after opening slots for the likes of Miranda Lambert, Chris Young, David Nail and Kix Brooks.
