While the media focuses on the negative aspects of Mindy McCready's life, we choose to remember her amazing talent, her beauty and her music. With the voice of 10,000 angels, she could make you stop and listen to every word she sang. Her smile was one of the most beautiful things to ever grace the cover of a magazine and her infectious laugh reflected the love she had in her heart. She had her problems but so do every one of us, none of us are perfect and fight out own demons. Unfortunately those demons proved to ultimately be too much for her. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, her kids and those that loved her. We thank you Mindy for sharing your talent with the world, for making a bad day better with your music and for giving yourself in every word you sang. Your family, friends and fans will miss you as will country music in general. May you rest in peace, your troubles are now behind you and you can sleep without worry or fear. Sleep well.
