In today's country, there are very few artists that can evoke true emotion, reach right in and grab you not only with their vocals, but with their soul. Tate Stevens is one of those artists. He kept audiences captivated on The X Factor and never placed below #2, more often in the top spot. Listeners were drawn by the spirit of this construction worker with a heart of gold and a voice of honesty. His eyes often filled with tears as he dedicated most songs to his best friend and wife, he left his own heart on the stage with each performance and left a mark on the hearts of others. Tate not only won The X Factor, he won the adoration and admiration of many music fans. His soon to be released debut single, "Power of a Love Song", cements Tate Stevens as much more than just another reality show singer, but as a true country artist. The song, penned by Bradley Gaskin, Mark Johnson and Jeremy Bussey, is exactly what the title says it is, a powerful love song that tells the story of what a love song was meant to be, a message that you don't have to hear only through words but through underlying emotion. This song shows that America made the right choice, that country music made the right choice and that he is what country music is all about - the everyday person, the story, the life inside a song.
