CMA Fest 2013 officially invades Nashville starting on Thursday, June 6 and ending on Sunday, June 9. If you're looking for something to do, there is no shortage of performances and free things going on for fans of all ages. The party officially kicks off with the CMA Fest Kick Off Parade taking place at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 5. Fans can line up anywhere from Tenth on Broadway which is the starting point to First Avenue, the ending point. Serving as grand marshal this year is Kix Brooks. Immediately after the parade, head over to the CMA Festival Block Party located at the Chevy Riverfront Stage for performances from The HenningsensBrazilbilly, The Lacs, The Cadillac Three, and one of country's true traditions, Joe Diffie. Newcomer Lyndsey Highlander will perform a tribute to our nation with the national anthem.

Now as far as stages go, there are a staggering 11 this year so there is no way you won't hear music anywhere in this town. And don't forget the many bars and honky tonks, you can find your favorite singer/songwriters performing there as well so be sure to check your favorite artist's website.

Just so you know who's playing where, here is the lineup, including location and hours for each free stage that is open to anyone and everyone. The public is always welcome here.
