Hunter, N.Y. – The inaugural Taste of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain wrapped up a successful first year on Saturday night. The three-day festival brought in over 23,000 country music fans for an all-star lineup including Lady Antebellum, Willie Nelson & Family, Trace Adkins, Billy Currington, Hunter Hayes, Montgomery Gentry, Justin Moore and many more.

Fans from across the U.S. enjoyed the first country music festival in the Northeast in nearly two decades. Country music’s hottest stars rocked the Main Stage for nearly 12 hours beginning at noon and going until midnight each day, at which point the action moved indoors to the late night Guts & Glory Stage presented by RAM, which kept the party going until the early hours of the morning.

During Saturday’s festivities, concert-goers delivered raucous cheers when event organizers revealed the new dates and first headliner for next year’s festival. The June 13-15, 2014 event will feature multi-award-winning, Platinum-selling, worldwide country star Brad Paisley.

“We were so excited by the response to this year’s festival that we couldn’t wait to announce next year’s event,” said Dhruv Prasad of Townsquare Media Group, one of the festival’s promoters. “We want to sincerely thank the artists who helped us build the festival, and the fans who took the leap of faith to come out to support us in our first year. Country music is a family, and we’re looking forward to our family reunion in 2014.”
