NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 18, 2013)—Nashville singer/songwriter, performer and country recording artist Lucas Hoge celebrates four nominations with nods from the Inspirational Country Music Association (ICM).

In keeping with the spirit of his music, Hoge returns to the 2013 ICM ballot for the third consecutive year –in 2012 Hoge was nominated for Best Male Vocalist Of The Year and in 2011 for New Artist of The Year.

In distinguished company along with artists Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, Josh Turner, Alan Jackson and Darius Rucker, Hoge is applauded for Entertainer of The Year, Male Vocalist of The Year, Song of The Year (“Have I Done Something”) and Video of The Year (“Sharing The Journey”). The ballot, voted on by membership, includes a stellar array of decorated names in the various categories that include entertainer, artist, new artist, song, songwriter, group, duo, musician, radio, radio station, film and television honors.

“An artist always hopes to move and inspire people with his or her music. And the ICM nomination validates the premise and reason I am passionate and hopeful to make a difference. I am very honored to be nominated for the 19th Annual ICM awards among other great achieved artists,” says Lucas Hoge.

In November 2012, Hoge reached number one with “Have I Done Something”(written by Lucas Hoge and Jeff Dayton) on the ICM Inspirational chart. Kicking off 2013 with great momentum, “Sharing The Journey” (written by Lucas Hoge, Corey Barker and Laura Lynn) is nominated for Video of The Year. Climbing the Power Source Inspirational Country chart, the single is positioned in the number 10 slot (PowerSource Magazine--August 2013) and rising from number 35 on The Power Source TOP 75 Country Songs chart. Hitting the “big screen, ” “Sharing The Journey” has garnered attention with over 25,000 hits within the first week of the video’s digital debut.

The 19th Annual Inspirational Country Music Awards is scheduled to be held on October 24, 2013 at Two Rivers at Opryland in Nashville, TN.

The 2013 ICM Faith, Family & Country Awards Week is dedicated to honoring and showcasing the biggest names and emerging talent among artists who perform inspirational and Christian country music inspired by Faith, family, and country music.

An all-around entertainer (who is no stranger to largeaudiences on the big screen and center stage, in print, and over radio airwaves), Hoge’s reputation as a motion-moving performer, clever lyricist and stand-out vocalist precede him as he transcends borders into the acting arena; Hoge starred in Animal Planet’s Last Chance Highway and played the feature role in Clinton Gregory’s video “Too Much Ain’t Enough.” With music at the forefront, his versatile artistry has landed him appearances on The Today Show, Inside Edition and he has graced the pages of People Magazine and Country Weekly; he has performed abroad and at some of country music’s biggest events and venues (CMA Fest and Opryland Hotel).
