Release features 7 new tracks
This week has the duo in numerous TV studios, radio stations and phone lines promoting the release. In addition to the bevy of media attention, Sundy Best will perform two sold out shows in Lexington, Kentucky prior to heading to Nashville on Saturday, August 31 to perform at The Wildhorse Saloon in association with the University of Kentucky vs. Western Kentucky University football game at LP Field.
“What better way to kick off our release week. We are Kentuckians through and through and are thrilled to be playing in Nashville after the big game,” says Kris Bentley of Sundy Best.
In just a few short years, the friends Nick Jamerson and Kris Bentley, from Prestonsburg, Kentucky have developed a sound that is unique and engaging. As songwriters, they write what they know: home, love, living, girls and much more. With their songs connecting to a wide range of fans, the guys are now the patriarchs of a movement that is sweeping the socials and their live shows called #kinfolkmovement.
“We look at those that like our music as having joined our family; therefore, the kin folk movement began. We are very engaged with them and they with us as we set out on the journey to grow our extended family beyond something we could have not imagined a few months ago,” says Sundy Best.
With the popularity of the duo’s debut release Door Without A Screen eOne Entertainment wanted to add more fuel for the fans with the deluxe edition including 7 new tracks featuring never before heard demo recordings, as well as several live ones. The label will also be offering a limited pressing of vinyl for the deluxe.
Currently, when not on tour, the duo is in the studio with famed-producer R.S. Fields working on their first all original project for eOne Entertainment. The album is all written by Jamerson and Bentley.
