Nashville, TN… (November 13, 2013)… Just one week after Thomas Rhett's highly anticipated It Goes Like This album release, the country star and outdoor enthusiast has been chosen as NRA Country's Artist Of The Month for November. The new album, featuring his No. 1 hit single and title track, opened at an impressive No. 2 on the sales chart. Thomas joins some of country music’s biggest artists in teaming up with NRA Country to celebrate his support of our brave men and women in uniform, appreciation for the great outdoors, and love of family.

“Traveling down the roads of our beautiful country, I’ve met lots of people. People who work hard, are dedicated to their family and jobs, and who are quick to help their neighbors,” says Thomas. “I love this country, am proud to be an American, and I am NRA Country.”

As part of the November promotion, NRA Country will give away a pair of tickets to every remaining Thomas Rhett show in 2013 and at each concert, one lucky winner will be picked for an exclusive meet and greet with Thomas! Check HERE for a list of tour dates and watch NRA Country’s facebook and twitter accounts for information on how to win tickets.

Also, starting tomorrow November 14th, NRA Country is hosting a Thomas Rhett lyric contest, where fans can complete the line or finish the lyric from his smash: "Hey, Girl, you make me wanna write a song and it goes like _____". Entries will be accepted HERE through November 22nd when Thomas will personally narrow it down to ten finalists. Fans will vote on final entries online and the winner will be flown to Nashville for his show on December 11th. Check NRA Country for further details including contest rules.

Watching father Rhett Akins work as an artist and hit songwriter, music has always been a part of 23-year-old Thomas Rhett’s life. The Valdosta, GA, native spent his high school years dabbling in songwriting and playing in a band with friends. The talented singer has scored two Top 15 hits – the poignant “Beer With Jesus” and debut single “Something To Do With My Hands” – both of which are on his debut album, IT GOES LIKE THIS, out now. The project also features Thomas Rhett's first #1, the GOLD certified, “It Goes Like This.” As a gifted songwriter, he has penned Florida Georgia Line’s two-week #1 “Round Here” and two Jason Aldean cuts, including the Top 15 smash “1994.” He recently wrapped his opening slot on Jason Aldean’s NIGHT TRAIN TOUR and was a part of the first-ever Country concert at Fenway Park in Boston. He kicked off his first headlining shows with THE TASTE OF COUNTRY CHRISTMAS TOUR on November 7 in Abilene, TX.
