“The song hits really close to home for me. I was in love with my girl long before we had ever even kissed,” shares Jesse Lopez. “I am such a physical touch type of person, that sometimes expressing my love comes down to an intimate setting, because I guess from my perspective, nothing says I love you like a little physical attention.”

“I love the song and had a blast writing it with Jesse Lopez. Everyone killed it in the studio and I cannot wait to see what you do with it,” exclaimed co-writer Ryland Fisher. “With these crazy times we’re living in , I can’t think of a better opportunity to throw some love back in to the world, and I’m so happy you’re doin it with our song”

“... I gotta get something off my chest
It's on the tip of my tongue
Some things just aint
Easier said than done

‘Cause there’s not a line, that I could write to really tell you what I mean
All I can do is show you girl, and let my kiss do the talking for me…”

“Way Past Words” was recorded at Sound Kitchen in Franklin, TN. The song was produced by Dr. Ford with mastering by Pete Lyman. Studio musicians for the project included Chris Condon on guitar, Dr. Ford on keys and percussion along with providing the background vocals, Caleb Mundy playing bass guitar and Smith Curry adding lap steel and dobro to the mix.
