Country singer and former 6x WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James teams up with CMT’s Next Women of Country, Chapel Hart, to debut GAW ("Grown Ass Woman"). Just in time for summer, this empowering anthem unites women, everywhere, to stand up & stand strong! With an official release date of May 28th, the song is now available for preorder on iTunes, Spotify, SoundCloud or wherever you listen to music.

GAW is the just the latest project for Mickie James, who launched GAWtv with friends Lisa Marie Varon and Valerie Wyndham at the height of the pandemic. All known for their careers in pro-wrestling, the ladies are gearing up for the one-year anniversary of their popular show - which now features GAW as the intro theme.

For James, the development of GAW reached new heights when she paired up with powerhouse act Chapel Hart.

“It takes courage to live your life as a grown-ass woman, and I love that I’ve been able to share my own personal GAW journey with fans over the years. The single GAW couldn’t come at a better time and partnering with Chapel Hart really elevated the song to make it a banger of a track. While I had the original concept and had written the chorus with my partners Sean Gasaway and Brandon Green, when I met Chapel Hart, I was so inspired to revisit the track with them and truly capture the heart and soul of every woman - it’s an opportunity you don’t turn down!,” said Mickie James.

GAW is just the latest collaboration between Mickie James and Chapel Hart, the ladies previously teamed up when Mickie made a cameo in the music video for Chapel Hart’s smash hit “You Can Have Him Jolene.”

Based out of New-Orleans, family is at the heart of country trio Chapel Hart. Consisting of Grammy-nominated Danica Hart, her cousin Trea and sister Devynn, the ladies of Chapel Heart have been singing together since they were toddlers in Poplarville, Mississippi.

In addition to “You Can Have Him Jolene,” the trio is known for singles “Jesus & Alcohol,” and “I Will Follow,” as well as their 2019 independently-released album Out the Mud. Chapel Hart was inducted into the CMT Next Women of Country Class of 2021.

In a few short years, Chapel Hart has built a loyal following, as fans flock to venues across the country to be a part of the colorful, contagious energy of the group’s full live-band experience. Now following a year off the road due to the pandemic, the trio is excited to announce the first leg of their Follow Your Hart Tour, which encompasses approximately 25 dates in more than 20 cities along the South and East Coasts of America. The tour kicked off April 2, 2021 at the ACA Performing Arts Center in Lafayette, LA and currently continues through the French Quarter Festival in New Orleans on September 30, 2021. Visit www.ChapelHart.com to purchase tickets. All shows will follow local guidelines.

“There is nothing like performing in front of live audiences and we are excited to get back on stage to bring the one-of-a-kind Chapel Hart concert experience to current and new fans across the country. This tour is the icing on the cake of a whirlwind few years, years in which one of our biggest blessings has been to cross paths with Mickie James and collaborate on several projects. And you never know, she just may show up at select stops to perform GAW live,” says Danica Hart.

GAW is now available to stream and purchase wherever you listen to music. For Chapel Hart tickets please visit www.ChapelHart.com. Follow Mickie James on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Stay up to date with Chapel Hart news on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
