Hale's journey in the music industry began with humble roots. At just nine years old, he broke onto the scene by performing locally in West Virginia with his father Clayton Hale’s band. Clayton, a regular on a 1970s television show airing on WOAY, inspired Hale's early passion for music. A few years later, Robert’s talent earned him an invitation to perform at the legendary Grand Ole Opry as a guest of the iconic Bill Monroe. Over the years, Hale's career flourished as he played with numerous critically-acclaimed bands, including JD Crowe, Eddie Adcock, LiveWire, Wildfire, and the Allstars of Bluegrass. His exceptional skills even caught the attention of Country legend Dolly Parton, who invited him to collaborate on two of her recordings.
