#COUNTRYGIVESBACK - LOVE FROM MUSIC CITY & THE FIRE PLACE FELLOWSHIP WELCOMED OVER 300 FOSTER CHILDREN FROM SUMNER COUNTY AT 14TH ANNUAL "A MUSIC CITY CHRISTMAS" PARTY

Juna N Joey Entertained Families During Event

Love From Music City’s ‘A Music City Christmas’ provides food, clothing, toys, and entertainment to Middle Tennessee Foster Kids

On Sunday, December 14th, The Fire Place Fellowship hosted its 14th annual Christmas celebration, ‘A Music City Christmas,’ serving approximately 300 foster children and their families from across Middle Tennessee. Sponsored by Love From Music City, the event was created to bring hope and joy to children within the foster care system during the holiday season.

The event featured a festive lineup of activities, including photos with Santa, complimentary treats provided by Nothing Bundt Cakes, and a lunch served to all the children. Adding to the celebration, country music singer-songwriter sibling duo Juna N Joey delivered a live performance, bringing holiday cheer and entertainment to families attending.

Each foster child received at least five brand-new gifts, along with winter clothing, shoes, toys, bedding, and personal care items. The day concluded with prize giveaways, including bicycles and musical instruments, as well as a special musical performance for families to enjoy together.

“We are incredibly grateful to the businesses, volunteers, and families who donated their time and resources to make this possible,” said founder Shanda Tripp, who established Love From Music City following the event’s beginnings at The Fire Place Fellowship. “Fourteen years ago, we chose to honor foster families by focusing our Christmas efforts on the children who need it most.”

According to the Tennessee Alliance for Kids, nearly 9,500 children are currently in foster care statewide, with fewer than 8,000 available foster homes—making the holiday season an especially critical time of need.

'40 YEARS OF HITS TOUR' ANNOUNCES A BUSY 2022 FOR LEE GREENWOOD

ABC Supply Co. Inc. Continues Tour Sponsorship Into 2022

Country music legend Lee Greenwood is sprinting towards the finish line of 2021, to put a wrap on what has shaped up as one of the highest-profile years of his career. Ahead in 2022 will be the January launch of his '40 Years of Hits Tour,' which will find the multi-awarded country icon crisscrossing America to hit 40-plus concert dates already confirmed for the year, with more being added. The tour is being sponsored by ABC Supply Company, Inc.

“This announcement is only the beginning of what is shaping up to be a record year for us,” says Greenwood. “I have not done such a major tour in many years, normally it is one or two in a row and back home. This tour is going to have me performing at places from small to large, fair to festival, and everything in between.”

This year marked Greenwood’s official '40 Years of Hits' celebration, recognizing his amazing presence as an artist, musician, songwriter, philanthropist, and consummate entertainer since his emergence on the national charts in the ’80s. With over twenty Top 10 singles, garnering Grammy, CMA, and ACM awards, his stellar rise to unprecedented national attention in the wake of “God Bless the USA,” has given Lee Greenwood a permanent place of prominence amid the true legends of American music, crossing both decades and multiple genres.

Fresh on his list of highlights in 2021, was last month’s 'All-Star Salute to Lee Greenwood,' which featured a “who’s who” of top name artists in a celebration that produced not only a star-studded stage but also the third highest-grossing event in the 46-year history of Huntsville’s Von Braun Center. The concert was promoted by Outback Presents. The concert footage is set to produce a trio of television specials to air in the 2022 season.
