TUNE IN ALERT: RUNAWAY JUNE ON ABC’S GOOD MORNING AMERICA THIS THURSDAY (10/3)

Runaway June will be performing this Thursday (10/3) on ABC’s Good Morning America during the 8 o’clock hour. The trio recently scored their first Top five single both as artists and songwriters. The breakout hit, “Buy My Own Drinks” marked the first time a female trio or group has broken into the top five on the Mediabase Country chart since the Dixie Chicks in 2003.

Runaway June will perform their nostalgic record, “We Were Rich,” Thursday morning on GMA from their critically-acclaimed debut album, Blue Roses, produced by legends Dann Huff and Ross Copperman. The album also includes the anthemic Top five hit “Buy My Own Drinks,” as well as their upcoming single “Head Over Heels,” which ships to Country Radio this month.

Since Naomi Cooke, Hannah Mulholland and Jennifer Wayne formed four years ago, Runaway June has become an ACM and CMT nominated band, been named CMT’s “Next Women of Country,” scored major tours and opening slots with some of the biggest names and icons in music (including Garth Brooks) performed on national TV including the CMA Awards, ACM Awards, CMT Awards and others, and soon to be GMA. The trio has received high praise and raves from dozens of critical outlets, all while constantly digging deeper to fill out a sound that connects them to the tradition of Country music and its devoted fans. They are on the road through the fall, supporting seven-time Grammy winner and Pollstar’s three-time top female country touring artist Carrie Underwood on the Cry Pretty Tour 360. Sponsored by CALIA, the tour kicked off on May 1 in Greensboro, NC, playing a total of 55 arenas across the U.S. and Canada promoted by AEG Presents. Tickets for the concerts can be purchased here.

#COUNTRYREWIND - KELSEA BALLERINI TAKES OVER NYC’S CENTRAL PARK FOR HEADLINE DEBUT ON GOOD MORNING AMERICA SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

WATCH HER PERFORM CHART-CLIMBING “I HATE LOVE SONGS” PLUS HER HISTORY-MAKING #1 HITS AS SPECIAL WEB EXCLUSIVES
 TO CO-HOST ABC’S THREE-HOUR CMA FEST NEXT WEEK (8/8)

Taking over the iconic location in New York City earlier, Black River Entertainment’s KELSEA BALLERINI boldly made her Central Park headlining debut with ABC's Good Morning America Summer Concert Series. The bona fide trailblazer was the only Country artist billed for the national program this year.

Dressed in a silver sequin Robert Rodriguez hoodie with matching Paco Rabanne stiletto booties, Ballerini's high-energy set featured a teal-colored balloon drop atop the glittering stage of the same electric hue. She delivered a “thoughtful performance of ‘Unapologetically,’” praised Billboard, as the crowd of “country fans sang along to the love song's catchy lyrics.” As heard on her acclaimed sophomore album of the same name, she also performed her chart-climbing current single “I Hate Love Songs.”

Watch Kelsea Ballerini bring “Unapologetically” and “I Hate Love Songs” to the Big Apple on ABC’s Good Morning America.

Loading her monster appearance, she chatted with GMA anchor Lara Spencer plus closed with her breakout smash “Love Me Like You Mean It.” Further filming two additional hits as web exclusives, Ballerini pumped up the big city crowd with “Dibs” and “Peter Pan.” All three #1 tracks – “Love Me Like You Mean It,” “Dibs,” and “Peter Pan” – made history, as Ballerini remains the first and only female artist in Country music history, including female duos and groups, to top the chart with her first three consecutive singles from a debut album (GOLD-certified THE FIRST TIME).

Watch Kelsea Ballerini reprise her #1 record-breakers, “Love Me Like You Mean It,” “Dibs,” and “Peter Pan.”

On Wednesday (8/8), she’ll return to ABC to co-host the 15th consecutive year of the three-hour CMA Fest special. Joining Thomas Rhett for the second year, the concert footage was gathered over the annual four-day music festival at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium. Tune in to see Ballerini also join the lineup, as the program begins at 8/7c.

Ballerini hits the road this weekend for another run on Keith Urban’s GRAFFITI U WORLD TOUR. As his special guest, she’ll continue to support through November 3 at American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX, with a local show set for August 24 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

ERIC CHURCH TAKES SOLO SHOW TO ABC’S "GOOD MORNING AMERICA" ON AUGUST 18

For the First Time in His Career, Church to Perform Solo on T.V.
During Summer Concert Series in Iconic Central Park

The only thing predictable about Eric Church is that he is unpredictable. He’s an artist that has built his career with tour stops coast-to-coast, not with dozens of television performances around each album cycle. When he takes to the stage, he damn-well makes sure it’s special. With his current Holdin’ My Own Tour—a 62-city, three-plus-hour marathon, featuring a double-set, full-band show sans opener —currently underway, Church decided to do something different for ABC’s Good Morning America and showcase his unique live solo performance for the first time on national T.V. On August 18, he will perform stripped down from 8 to 9 a.m. ET as part of their Summer Concert Series in Iconic Central Park.

The Summer Concert Series is free and open to the public. Fans can learn more about how to attend here, gmaconcerts.com.

This isn’t the first time that Church has rocked a crowd solo: at the end of July in 2015 he opened Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater with two sold-out acoustic shows; and when his band and crew fell ill before a show in Salt Lake City back in January 2015, Church played acoustically rather than cancelling. In August of 2016, he solo-performed at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater for two consecutive nights. Most recently when a snow storm in Calgary threatened the weight of the dome’s roof, he stripped back production and performed his marathon three-hour set mostly solo.

Even in Church’s Holdin’ My Own Tour stops that kicked off in January, each night he takes a few moments throughout the night to play solo for fans. His tour has become the No. 1 most attended touring concert in the world thus far in 2017 according to Pollstar, giving fans nights of more than 35 songs. Church has sold out all stops to date including Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. The tour will wrap with two at-capacity nights in Nashville, Tennessee May 26 & 27.

Church recently announced after he wraps his Holdin’ My Own Tour that he will play eight more shows this year (not including GMA’s SummerStage), two of which will be with CMA and ACM Duo of the Year winners, Brothers Osborne, and singer/songwriter Ashley McBryde (with additional special guests for remaining shows announced soon).

Country darling Tegan Marie made her first major television debut on ABC’s Good Morning America today (8/29), while serving up a bubbly performance of her current single “Lucky Me.”

The little girl with a big voice is wowing listeners with her jaw-dropping vocals at just 12 years old. She’s also making a big difference in her community, as the Flint, MI native is continuing to donate 100% of the proceeds from “Lucky Me” to the children in her hometown directly affected by the devastating water crisis.

Stealing hearts worldwide, the viral sensation charmed GMA’s live studio audience while also singing her impassioned rendition of Florida Georgia Line’s #1 smash-hit “H.O.L.Y.” Within three weeks of posting a cover of it on Facebook earlier this summer, it garnered over 15 million views, made FGL “misty-eyed,” and was featured in Us Weekly’s “Buzzzz-o-Meter” column.

A young star on the rise, Tegan has been incredibly well-received by critics. Country Rebel noted, “At only 12-years-old, Tegan Marie is proving that she could not only be the next young star in country music, but the next big star period.” RARE Country added, “If you remember the shock we all felt when a 13-year-old LeAnn Rimes first hit the country scene with ‘Blue’ back in the mid-‘90s, then you’ll appreciate how rare a talent we’ve got in Tegan.”

Her exceptional talent also recently caught the attention of the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team as they invited her to perform the national anthem at their last home game before the Olympics. Tegan rose to the occasion and didn’t let her home team down. RARE Country hailed, “The national anthem is considered by many singers to be one of the hardest songs to perform, but it was a piece of cake for Tegan.”

KENNY CHESNEY RETURNS TO ABC'S GOOD MORNING AMERICA

No Shoes Nation Annexes Central Park for Summer Concert Series

www.kennychesney.com

NEW YORK, N.Y. (Thursday, July 7, 2016) - If it’s summer, it must be time for Kenny Chesney to Spread the Love across America’s breakfast tables -- as he teams with his friends at ABC’s Good Morning America. This Friday (7/8), Chesney will take the stage in Central Park as part of GMA’s annual Summer Concert Series.

“If there’s one thing that seems like summer – as much as our hitting the road, getting out there to the No Shoes Nation—it’s being a part of Good Morning America’s concert series in Central Park,” says the man The Los Angeles Times called “The People’s Superstar” of his upcoming appearance. “Taking the music outside is what it’s all about – and there is something about the Park that just feels like everything the music I’ve been making is all about.”

For Chesney, whose “Noise” is cresting the Top 5 this week, music has been a way to celebrate the elation of being alive. Whether the freewheeling spirit of “American Kids,” the coming of age surge of “Young,” the beauty of women coming into their own in “Wild Child” or the uplifting sweep of “Save It For A Rainy Day,” the 4-time consecutive Academy of Country Music and 4-time Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year understands using music to create a bond with people who’re consumed by living their lives.

With Some Town Somewhere moving to Oct. 28 including “Setting The World On Fire,” a special duet with P!NK, the man who scored four consecutive No. 1’s off The Big Revival continues taking his music to the No Shoes Nation with his 14-date stadium Spread The Love Tour. Heading into the halfway mark, Chesney will play Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor, Maine then headline the Cavendish Beach Music Festival on Prince Edward Island this weekend.

“Music is medicine,” Chesney says. “It does so much good for people. You can find your life, your truth and yes, your fun in it. That’s one of the things that drew me to music, and it’s one of the best things about being out on the road: seeing all the people, hearing them sing and cheer – and you can tell how much fun they’re having. The fact music can do that, well, that’s part of why playing Good Morning America is such a great thing: get people’s day off to a great start, and let them take that music with them.”

Look for Kenny Chesney and his band tomorrow morning on ABC’s Good Morning America. Their Summer Concert Series airs live from Central Park.

NASHVILLE, TN (September 10, 2013) – Florida Georgia Line is turning up the triple play action this week with “Round Here” earning their third consecutive #1 smash in both the US and Canada. The GOLD-certified single topped all four Country radio charts – Mediabase Country Chart, Billboard Country Chart, Mediabase Canada Country Airplay Chart and BDS Canada Country Airplay Chart. Amassing international appeal, the breakout duo recently crossed a new career threshold -- tallying more than 10 million tracks sold worldwide from their debut album HERE’S TO THE GOOD TIMES (Republic Nashville), which has been certified PLATINUM in the US and GOLD in Canada.

As announced earlier today (9/10), FGL earned their first ever Country Music Association (CMA) Award nominations and scored nods in the following four categories -- Vocal Duo; New Artist of the Year; Single of the Year for “Cruise”; and Musical Event of the Year with Nelly for the remix of “Cruise.” The awards show will air LIVE from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on November 6 at 8P ET/PT on ABC.

“Last year we attended the CMA Awards for the first time and now to be nominated for four awards is an unbelievable honor,” shares FGL’s Tyler Hubbard (Monroe, GA).

FGL’s Brian Kelley (Ormond Beach, FL) adds, “we are blown away! This is such a testament to our fans, country radio and our team. We are incredibly thankful and are excited for the awards night. It is going to be a party!”

The hot newcomers previously garnered back-to-back, multi-week #1 smashes in the US and Canada – the 5X PLATINUM breakout debut single “Cruise,” which combined with the remix with Nelly has sold over 5.5 million copies in the US alone, and PLATINUM-certified follow-up “Get Your Shine On.” According to SoundScan, “Cruise” is the third-best-selling Country digital song ever and recently broke the record for longest #1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Chart. The multiple ACM and CMT Music Award winners will headline the HERE’S TO THE GOOD TIMES TOUR 2013 this fall.
