CD Review: "I Love A Cowboy" - Kaley Caperton

CD: "I Love a Cowboy"
Artist: Kaley Caperton
Release Date: 2010
Label: Unknown (assume independent)

Finally! A new artist who already knows who she is and didn't chose to run with the pack! Performing since the age of 8, Kaley Caperton may be young but her lyrics and vocals are quite the contrary - skillful, matured and seasoned. Her cd, "I Love a Cowboy" is made up of 10 well crafted, vocally impressive tracks that don't disappoint. Bringing back memories of a young LeAnn Rimes, Kaley Caperton puts her stamp of ownership on every song.

Kaley has performed as an opener for artists such as Craig Morgan, Michael Peterson, Rick Trevino, and Asleep at the Wheel. She's also performed for large scale events such as George W. Bush's homecoming, Baylor sporting events, and national rodeo events. Raised in Dallas, Kaley knows what being country is all about and her country pride reflects in her music.

If I had the time, I'd review every single track on this cd, but in order to save time and not repeat myself, I can only say that this entire cd is outstanding. I would recommend purchasing for anyone who loves true country music, loves artists who take pride in both in what they write and what they sing and loves someone who appreciates their roots.

CLAP CLAP CLAP! Well done, Kaley, well done!
