COUNTRY RECORDING/TOURING ARTIST RAY SCOTT PREMIERES NEW VIDEO “THOSE JEANS”

Kicks off “Country @ The Rock” Concert Series At The World Famous Hard Rock Cafe

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 6, 2012) — Ray Scott will premiere his new comedic “get-your-party-on” video entitled “Those Jeans” from his latest recording project RAYALITY at the Country @ The Rock Concert Series (presented by AStar Promotions) kick-off event Saturday evening, September 15, 2012 at Hard Rock Cafe Nashville (100 Broadway).

An accomplished songwriter, Scott has seen success with several cuts including: Randy Travis: “Pray For The Fish” (2003), Clay Walker: “A Few Questions” (2003) and Trace Adkins: “If The Sun Comes Up,” featured on the Act Of Valor film soundtrack as released earlier this year in February. Since his debut in 2005, Scott has continued to entertain fans nationwide with songs from his three albums, MY KIND OF MUSIC (Warner Brothers – Peaking at #4 on the Billboard “Heatseekers” chart in 2005 and selling nearly 100,000 copies) and his two independent CDs, CRAZY LIKE ME and RAYALITY.

"The song is about a pick-up line, that may or may not be successful, complete with hot girls, a dog, a bar-fight and beer. It was a hoot shootin’ the video,” said Scott. “I’m excited to kick off the Country @ The Rock Concert Series with a bang and to share a fun night with fellow country performers live and direct from Hillbilly Hollywood, Nashville, TN!”

The September 15 launch event will also showcase the talents of country traditionalist and wizard fiddler Clinton Gregory, songwriter/artist Alyana, Sony/ATV's Caroline Kole and bringing a little “Kentucky Blue” to the stage with their country rock performance, the group Borrowed Blue, who's debut single “Porch People” will hit radio September 18. The Country @ The Rock Concert Series is scheduled through Spring 2013.

Attracting audiences from around the globe, Renegade Radio personality Captain Jack will broadcast live (via the Renegade Radio Internet radio broadcast) featuring updates and artist interviews throughout. Those unable to attend the video premiere and opening event can live-stream the honky-tonk activities via www.stageit.com.

Upcoming series will feature new artists; Texas native Lindsey Harding, country christian group Crawford Crossing, multi-instrumentalist & solo artist Jake Clayton, rising country artist Erin Michelle, the six-piece group Too Far Gone and Mac Powell (lead singer of Third Day, who is entering the country market), among others. For more information about the Country @ The Concert Rock Series visit www.astarcountry.com or www.hardrock.com. Tickets are $8.00 at the door; the shows begin at 7:30PM.
