NASHVILLE, Tenn. – September 24, 2012 – Country music TV and radio personality Storme Warren will serve as host and master of ceremonies at the Wilson County Humanitarian Award Gala to honor superstar Tracy Lawrence for his philanthropy and charitable efforts on September 25, recently proclaimed “Tracy Lawrence Day” by Wilson County leaders. Lawrence will receive two honors during the evening, the Wilson County Humanitarian Award and proclamation of “Tracy Lawrence Day.”
The sold out Wilson County Humanitarian Award Gala is open to the public and proceeds from the event will benefit “New Leash On Life,” an organization dedicated to providing care and improving the welfare of stray and abused animals in need. The evening will feature dinner, entertainment, special guests and an auction.
In addition to Storme Warren, special guests and speakers for the event will include the Mayor of Lebanon Philip Craighead, Wilson County Mayor Randall Hutto, Nashville Rescue Mission’s Lee Ann Ditchel and Lynn Bogle, Susan G. Komen of Nashville’s Patty Harman, New Leash On Life’s Amy Haverstick and Denise Moore, Lace Up 4 Pink’s Sherry McDonald, Songwriter Casey Beathard (Find Out Who Your Friends Are), and more.
