I had the pleasure of meeting Branch and Dean in Nashville during CMA Fest at the Nixa Country Fan Club Party and I can honestly tell you, you'll be hard pressed to find two nicer, most genuine guys who care about the music they release. Their latest single, "The Dash", although it comes from a place of personal and emotional loss, it was written not only as a tribute to Steve's only son, Theron Branch who passed away in March of this year from a long battle with Cystic Fibrosis, but as a message to pay attention to how you live your life, the gift you're given. This song is an amazing song and hits the listener right where it should,the heart. I can honestly say it's one of my favorite songs that's come around in a long time and will remain at the top of my playlist. Give the song a listen, I mean a REAL listen and when you wake up tomorrow, think about how you want to spend your own dash.
