CHRIS YOUNG IS FIRST COUNTRY ARTIST TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RECORDING ACADEMY ®REIMAGINED SERIES

Young Covers "Change the World" Exclusively For GRAMMY.com

Nashville, TN (October 11, 2013) – RCA Records singer-songwriter Chris Young recently performed an impressive rendition of Eric Clapton’s classic hit "Change The World" for an installment of ReImagined – a new online series launched by the GRAMMY Awards® and The Recording Academy®, which spotlights contemporary artists talking about and performing their own take on GRAMMY®-honored songs. Young’s stirring performance, shot in Los Angeles late last month, and an interview about the song can be seen exclusively at GRAMMY.com beginning today.

Young is the first country artist to participate in the new web series, created to connect the legacy of the GRAMMY’s with the present and future. The 28 year old vocalist, who Billboard Magazine recently said “Possesses one of the strongest, most distinctive voices among country’s current crop,” earned his own GRAMMY nomination in 2011 for Best Male Country Vocal Performance for one of his five No. 1 hits, GOLD-selling single, "Gettin' You Home."

Fans can also check out exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and an interview from the set on the TV news series, OMG! Insider.

Just weeks after releasing his critically acclaimed new album, A.M., Young isn’t slowing down anytime soon. His current single, “Aw Naw,” broke into the Top 10 this week on the country radio charts, and he is about to kick off the fall leg of Brad Paisley’s Beat This Summer Tour on October 17th.
