Shane Gamble’s debut single “Beautiful Work” starts out with a voice containing a touch of rasp. The title derives from it being a love song. “Love Is Beautiful Work” is the message here. This song will find its place in the wedding song niche. It will be comfortably ensconced next to Big and Rich’s “Lost In This Moment” and wrapped in taffeta and tulle. It will be aspiring towards Shenandoah’s “I Wanna Be Loved Like That” while nibbling on buttercream and Jordan almonds. It speaks about love that lasts, love that has bumps in the road and up and downs and it’s not all perfect it’s fights and tears and everything, but in the end it’s all worth it. If it lasts it’s not going to be all roses and daisies, there’s going to be fights that he compares to weeds you must pull.

“Like tilling rocks in a garden
Sweat and blood to see a rose
Planting seeds pulling weeds and just believing
Watching it grow.”

As sap quotients go, it’s pretty high. Like Hallmark and Notebook/Twilight high. I, personally, am not a fan of high sap quotients but as sap commands such a lucrative market, I could see this succeeding. There are plenty of people who will love this song, and all that it entails.
