Waterloo Revival's lead single "Hit the Road" is a song about a guy and a girl who meet and instantly hit it off. They feel like the town that they are in "is like an anchor dragging them down" and that they have $100 and a tank of gas to just pack up and go. They "can throw a dart at a coffee-stained map and hit the road." They are going to break free from everything and everyone that is dragging them down and just run away, leaving everything behind them. These lyrics are perfect for anyone who has ever wanted to leave the past behind them and just run away to start new. It's a perfect lead single for them. I'll be honest, I have never heard of Waterloo Revival until now, but now I can't get enough of them. I would highly recommend keeping these guys on your radar!
