MINDY SMITH ADDED TO “SARAH DARLING AND FRIENDS ACOUSTIC CHRISTMAS” CONCERT LINE-UP AT FRANKLIN THEATRE FRIDAY, DEC. 13, 2013

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Special guests slated to perform at the recently-announced “Sarah Darling and Friends Acoustic Christmas” concert on Friday, Dec. 13 at the Franklin Theatre will now include critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter Mindy Smith, whose new Christmas EP, Snowed In, is the latest addition to the half-million albums sold over her career. Also on the bill are up-and-coming artists Jenn Bostic, Matthew Perryman Jones and Tyler Flowers.

Tickets are on sale now! To purchase, click here.

The concert, set in the picturesque setting of historic downtown Franklin, TN, celebrates Darling’s release of her debut Christmas EP, Have A Merry Little Christmas Darling, produced by Emmy-nominated Musical Director Steve Gibson (Grand Ole Opry, CMA Awards, CMA Country Christmas). The EP is now available on iTunes and her official website ( www.sarahdarling.com).

Have A Merry Little Christmas Darling “adds another dimension to Darling’s already diversified portfolio,” (Breathecast), and features well-known holiday classics including “The Christmas Song,” “Silent Night,” and “I’ll Be Home For Christmas." Her poignant rendition of the Joni Mitchell original, “River,” is the "pride of the EP, capturing the pallid brokenness of the song's tortured soul with Kodak perspicuity," writes Breathecast. Moreover, Gibson's complementary production showcases her “crisp, powerhouse voice,” (The New York Times).
