The evening celebration will feature a country music concert headlined by multi-platinum recording group Little Texas, celebrating their 25th Anniversary tour with greatest hits “God Blessed Texas”, “Amy’s Back In Austin”, “What Might Have Been” and many more. Joining Little Texas at on the lineup is Morgan Frazier, best known for her anti-bullying hit song “Hey Bully.” Partnering with the world renowned anti-bullying organization Stand for the Silent, Frazier has reached hundreds of thousands of kids and adults affected by bullying, visiting schools and corporations across the United States. Opening acts Ash Bowers and Nashville favorites McKenzies Mill will also be performing.

When HomeSafe, Inc., a domestic violence agency serving 4 counties in Middle Tennessee decided on a theme for their 2014 fundraiser, they decided to have fun while raising money for a serious cause. They also wanted to spread the word to children and families about the wonderful work HomeSafe does, serving over 1,600 women and children every year. So they decided on a 5K run during the afternoon and a country music concert at night on March 22, 2014. This concept hatched the theme, “Quack Dynasty.”

MTV LAUNCHES IMPACTFUL NEW VIDEO FROM COUNTRY ARTIST, MORGAN FRAZIER

Video Tackles Reality of Bullying and Premieres on Act.MTV.com

Nashville, Tenn. (Oct. 30, 2013) – Sidewalk/Curb recording artist Morgan Frazier announces that her debut music video, “Hey Bully” world premiered on act.mtv.com. The video addresses tough, real world issues and does not shy away from the truth about bullying. Frazier, who was picked on herself, to the point where she was taken out of school and put in home school, co-wrote the impactful country tune with Sherrie Austin and Tiffany Goss.

“I am so glad that MTV is helping to bring this issue to the forefront, and I applaud act.mtv.com for encouraging folks to truly act on this and to join Stand For The Silent and myself. “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Kirk and Laura Smalley of Stand For The Silent everywhere from middle and high schools to major corporate headquarters to address bullying head on. The effects of bullying and the tragedies it can leave behind in today’s world must end. We made this video in an effort to get parents, kids and educators talking about the reality of this issue and to teach kids that suicide is not an option. One child lost is one too many,” says Frazier.

Frazier has partnered with Stand for the Silent (SFTS), whose mission it is to bring global awareness to the disturbing issue of bullying in today’s society. SFTS has been a part of Director Lee Hirsch's feature film, Bully, as well as The Bully Effect, a documentary on CNN’s AC360. SFTS was started after Kirk and Laura Smalley’s son Ty committed suicide in May of 2010 following a school suspension for defending himself against a bully. In their pledge to never stop the fight against school bullying, Kirk and Laura conduct Stand for the Silent presentations at middle and high schools all across the world.

According to Stand For The Silent, the statistics on bullying are alarming:

•Every 7 seconds a child is bullied in this world

•160,000 kids stay home from school every day due to fear of bullying

•25% of high school students in America will actually have a plan to take their own life before they graduate

“Hey Bully” is available now on iTunes: http://bit.ly/heybully

When Steve Holy’s breakout smash, “Good Morning Beautiful,” stood atop the country charts for five straight weeks in 2002, it sparked a fire that has continued to smolder throughout his decade-long career. Holy has shown unyielding tenacity and persistence since his first big break in 1993, when he beat out 500 hopefuls in the Dallas-Fort Worth area Johnnie High Country Review, the same contest that launched the career of LeAnn Rimes. After his break in Dallas, he signed with Curb Records. Three years later, in 2000, he released his debut album, Blue Moon. For the past two years, Steve has taken time off to return to his hometown of Dallas and spend time with his two young daughters. The time has come though, as Holy is once again touring relentlessly and climbing the charts with his top 20 single, “Love Don’t Run” and current hit “Hauled Off And Kissed Me.”

RaeLynn from The Voice

RaeLynn blew the judges away with her rendition of “Hell on Heels” by the Pistol Annies at the blind auditions for the Voice. RaeLynn chose Blake Shelton as her coach. She continued to gain national attention and support with her twangy voice, bad ass country – rock performances, great fashion sense, and adorable personality.

Dylan Scott started his career by winning two major music competitions--the final for the Colgate Country Music Showdown in his native Louisiana, and in 2009, the Neal McCoy East Texas Angel Network Talent contest. Now the multi-talented Sidewalk Records Artist is poised to become a major star with his new self-titled CD, Dylan Scott produced by Music City legend, Jim Ed Norman.
