TG SHEPPARD PERFORMS ON SIRIUSXM PRIME COUNTRY THIS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 23

Country Legend Talks with Charlie Monk
About Brand-New Music, Career Highlights

As Cowboys & Indians Magazine proclaimed, "one of the most sought-after live performers in country music," TG Sheppard performs an intimate concert on SiriusXM's Prime Country (Ch. 58) this Saturday, November 23 at 5:00 p.m./CT.

Hosted by radio veteran Charlie Monk, the one-hour special includes a career-spanning discussion and numerous performances in front of a live subscriber-based audience at Nashville's Music City Theatre.

Sharing music from his new album Midnight in Memphis that Digital Journal reviewed as "compelling from start to finish," Sheppard also dives into his friendship with Elvis Presley, being a teenage runaway, his former life as a radio promotion executive and more.

Sheppard also discusses his weekly radio show The TG Sheppard Show that airs on SiriusXM's Elvis Radio (Ch. 19) every Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m./CT. Guests of the show include Sir Barry Gibb, Lionel Richie, Dolly Parton and Kid Rock, just to name a few.

Released in October, Midnight in Memphis is the first solo country album Sheppard has released in more than 20 years. Garnering an "A rating" from Digital Journal, the record includes singles "I Wanna Live Like Elvis" and title track — written by Sir Barry Gibb — "Midnight in Memphis."

The exclusive performance will re-air on Saturday, November 23 at 11:00 p.m./CT and again on Sunday, November 24 at 11:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m./CT.

TG SHEPPARD TO HOST NEW WEEKLY SHOW ON SIRIUSXM'S ELVIS RADIO

One of Billboard's "Greatest of All Time Top Country Artists", TG Sheppard has been tapped as the new on-air personality for SiriusXM's Elvis Radio on Channel 19.

The TG Sheppard Show will air weekly on Fridays from 3:00-6:00 p.m./ET, making its SiriusXM debut on July 5. The three-hour show will feature Sheppard spinning the best of Elvis, as he revisits his personal, behind-the-scenes memories that he shared with the King of Rock-n-Roll.

Sheppard will also visit with old friends of both he and Elvis. Guests will include some of the most iconic and legendary names in music.

"I am very excited for the opportunity to join the SiriusXM team on Elvis Radio," says Sheppard. "My record executive days with RCA and my association with Graceland through the years as well as my past friendships with my dear friend George Klein and Elvis made the decision to do a radio show on SiriusXM Elvis Radio channel 19 a natural one for me."

Sheppard first met Elvis when he was a 16-year-old runaway, out on his own and chasing his dream of becoming an artist. The two met one night at a skating rink in Memphis, where Elvis recruited some of his friends for a game of "kill" — basically football on skates. Elvis needed another man, and Sheppard was in the right place at the right time. Who would've thought that once-in-a-lifetime meeting would've sparked a lifelong friendship that lasted until Elvis' passing.

Years later, Sheppard was given the opportunity to work alongside his friend as head of southeast record promotion at RCA, which enabled him to travel on Elvis' tours. Later though, Sheppard was finally given the push he needed to pave his own career path — as an artist. Elvis gifted Sheppard with his first tour bus, giving him the confidence he needed to work even harder to breakout as an artist.

An artist to his core, Sheppard has banked 21 No. 1 songs throughout his tenure in music, and the country music legend isn't changing his ways any time soon. In-between his new on-air personality role, Sheppard will still be completing his first new country solo album in more than 20 years as well as fulfilling his already hectic touring schedule.

"Mixing radio along with my touring schedule will hopefully give me the chance to reach more people with everything that I'm doing and keep the legacies of my friends Elvis and George Klein always in the forefront," adds Sheppard.

TG SHEPPARD RELEASES FIRST SINGLE IN MORE THAN 20 YEARS, "I WANNA LIVE LIKE ELVIS," ON THE KING'S BIRTHDAY

Priscilla Presley Embraces New Single

Country music legend TG Sheppard honors his close friend Elvis Presley by releasing his first single in more than two decades, appropriately titled, "I Wanna Live Like Elvis." The single comes hand-in-hand with today's date of January 8, what would have been Elvis' 84th birthday.

Sheppard — one of Billboard's Top 100 Country Artists of All Time — explains, "I was compelled to record 'I Wanna Live Like Elvis' in honor of my long-time friendship with him, and because the writers were able to capture so much of his life story in just four minutes in a clever and comical way that hasn't been done before."

The upbeat, funky track hits on the extraordinary life and career of the one-and-only Elvis Presley, featuring witty lyrics such as "I wanna learn karate, make a movie in Hawaii" and "I wanna love my momma, lay around with 'Cilla in silk pajamas."

Speaking of 'Cilla, Priscilla Presley even gives her stamp of approval stating, "'I Wanna Live Like Elvis' has a catchy beat, great lyrics and is cleverly written. Don't feel alone TG... I'm sure there are others who feel the same way. Much success to an endearing song, my friend."

Sheppard, who has banked 21 No. 1 hits, met The King at a skating rink one night in Memphis where Elvis invited him inside to play a game called "Kill" with he and his friends. After that serendipitous meeting, Sheppard and Elvis became great friends. Elvis even gave Sheppard his first tour bus, giving him the push he needed to strike out on his own and forge ahead with his music career.

"I Wanna Live Like Elvis" is the first single to be released from Sheppard's upcoming full-length album, his first country solo album in more than two decades. Details surrounding the new record will be announced in the coming months.

#CMAFEST2015 - ST. JUDE PRESENTS "JOHN RICH AND FRIENDS" FEATURING BIG & RICH, LEE GREENWOOD, LORRIE MORGAN, TG SHEPPARD, FRANKIE BALLARD AND JOHN CONLEE

Big Kenny and comedians Williams & Ree join the show to help tee off the

2015 FedEx St. Jude Classic

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (May 20, 2015) – Country music singer-songwriter John Rich will again headline St. Jude Presents John Rich and Friends, an evening of songs, stories and hope, Tuesday, June 9, at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts. Joining Rich this year are Lee Greenwood, Lorrie Morgan, T.G. Sheppard, John Conlee, Frankie Ballard, comedians Williams & Ree and his Big & Rich bandmate, Big Kenny.

Proceeds from the event, which kicks off the 2015 FedEx St. Jude Classic golf tournament week, benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, which is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Funds from this event help ensure families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

Rich has a string of hits as a solo artist and with Big & Rich, including “Comin’ to Your City,” “8th of November” and “Lost in the Moment.” Fellow performers Lee Greenwood, Lorrie Morgan, T.G. Sheppard and John Conlee have more than 30 No. 1 singles combined.

"I’m incredibly proud that the St. Jude Presents John Rich and Friends charity event has grown into an amazing entertainment event over the past four years, while continuing to support the kids of St Jude Children’s Research Hospital,” said Rich. “It’s a blessing to be part of an industry that has supported St. Jude so passionately for the past 30 years.”

St. Jude partner Window World® is presenting sponsor for the fourth consecutive year, and plays an important role in the success of St. Jude Presents John Rich and Friends. Through its charitable foundation Window World Cares®, the company supports St. Jude throughout the year and has raised more than $5 million for the kids of St. Jude.

Tickets are available for purchase at Ticketmaster, ranging from $40-$80 per person.

TG SHEPPARD HITTING THE ROAD WITH 2015 WINTER/SPRING TOUR

PRESS RELEASE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 2, 2015) – It’s shaping up to be a busy year for Country legend TG Sheppard as his winter/spring concert tour is getting underway.  The singer will headline shows in cities across North America, featuring his groundbreaking music and signature songs.  The tour coincides with the 40th anniversary of the phenomenal hit, “Devil in the Bottle.”

TG Sheppard says the strong support and broadening of his fan base now makes hitting the road even more meaningful.  "I'm constantly amazed to see such a wide age range of people who are showing up for our concerts night after night. Country music fans have never been fickle and will never leave you as long as you’re true to them and your music. They are growing larger in numbers all the time."  He adds, "I'm looking forward to my upcoming tour dates along with playing closer to home at the incredible Franklin Theatre with my talented wife, Kelly Lang. I haven't done a show locally in years. It will be fun doing a concert this close to Nashville."

The winter/spring engagements for TG Sheppard will include stops in Arizona, North Dakota, Florida, Tennessee and Texas.  More shows are being added to this year’s tour schedule.  So, be sure to check for updates on performances and special appearances.
