JON PARDI SETS MAY 19 RELEASE DATE FOR THE B-SIDES, 2011-2014

Three-Part Documentary, “Intro to the Pardi,” Available Exclusively on VEVO

While country music traditionalist Jon Pardi is working on his sophomore studio album, he is responding to fans’ demand for more music with his May 19 digital EP release, The B Sides, 2011-2014.

The B Sides features six previously unreleased tracks recorded for consideration for Pardi’s debut album, Write You A Song.  Although they did not make the final track listing for Write You A Song, hence The B Sides title, Pardi continues to play many of these songs in his live show. Fans have learned the lyrics over time and sing along, yet have not been able to personally own the tracks until now.

As he did with ten of the titles on his “Best of 2014”-named Write You A Song, Pardi co-produced and co-wrote all of the songs on The B Sides.

The B Sides, 2011-2014 Track Listing:

1. Fightin’ The Fool (Jon Pardi, Bart Butler, Davy Ulbrich)
2. Over My Head (Jon Pardi, Trent Summar, Gary Nicholson)
3. Drinkin’ With Me (Jon Pardi, Britton Cameron, Doug Kahan)
4. Back on the Backroads (Jon Pardi, Davy Ulbrich, Rich McCready)
5. Rainy Night Song (Jon Pardi)
6. Borrowed Time (Jon Pardi, Keith Follese, Adrienne Follese)

BILL ANDERSON'S SEVEN DECADES OF WRITING CREDITS SPAWN ANOTHER CHARTED COUNTRY SINGLE WITH MO PITNEY'S "COUNTRY"

Pictured L-R: Publicist Kirt Webster, Bill Anderson & Anderson's Manager Lee Willard (Straight 8 Entertainment).

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 30, 2015) – With the recent chart success of “Country” from Curb recording artist Mo Pitney, the name of Bill Anderson once again enters the Country Music history books. The success of the track gives Anderson the distinction of having an entry on the country charts for seven straight decades – a record held by no other songwriter in the history of the format. The success is yet another example of Anderson’s enduring talent. Since the late 1950’s the South Carolina native has enjoyed being one of the most versatile artists to ever call Music City home, with success as a singer, songwriter, TV host, radio personality, and author to his credit, and Webster Public Relations is excited to announce that Anderson has signed with the company for media representation.

His first major success was writing “City Lights” for Ray Price in 1958 – when he was still a teenager. His writing career has evolved over the years, with his compositions ranging from “Saginaw, Michigan” (Lefty Frizzell), “Once A Day” (Connie Smith), “I May Never Get To Heaven” (Conway Twitty) all the way to modern-day classics from Kenny Chesney (“A Lot Of Things Different”), Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss (“Whiskey Lullaby”), and George Strait (“Give It Away”). Anderson stands alone as the most-awarded songwriter in Country Music history.

As an artist, Anderson signed with Decca Records in 1958, and immediately hit the Billboard charts with “That’s What It’s Like To Be Lonesome.” Future hits included the Pop crossover “Still,” “Mama Sang A Song,” “Where Have All Our Heroes Gone,” “Quits,” and 1978’s “I Can’t Get Any Longer,” which became one of the earliest fusions of Country and Disco. His career triumphs earned him an invitation in 1961 to join the Grand Ole Opry, in addition to elections to the Nashville Songwriters’ Hall of Fame and the Country Music Hall of Fame. He was also the first Country artist to receive the BMI Icon Award in 2001.

One of the earliest performers to use television to his advantage, Anderson hosted his own syndicated series in the 1960s and 1970s, and also co-hosted the ABC-TV game series The Better Sex (with Sarah Purcell), as well as the 1980s’ series Fandango on The Nashville Network. Working his way through college as an on-air radio personality, he has since hosted programs on TNNR (The Nashville Network Radio) and XM Radio. In 1989, the singer put his story on paper with the best-selling autobiography Whisperin’ Bill, as well as the 2003 follow-up I Hope You’re Living As High On The Hog As The Pig You Turned Out To Be. An updated version of his autobiography is being readied for release later this year or in early 2016.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – April 29, 2015 – When acclaimed country singer and songwriter Sunny Sweeney was invited by The Washington Times to perform at their private event for Wounded Warriors’ caregivers and attend The White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner as a guest of The Washington Times, Sweeney swiftly obliged.  An avid supporter of the armed forces and wife of an Austin Police Department sergeant, Sweeney was honored to have the opportunity to thank those servicemen and women who serve as well as their caregivers.

On Friday, April 24, the ACM New Artist of the Year nominee performed songs including her recent Texas chart-topping single “Bad Girl Phase,” as well as her current heart-wrenching ballad “My Bed,” which is currently No. 3 and No. 6 on the Texas Regional Chart and Texas Music Chart respectively, among others. After performing, Sweeney met with Wounded Warriors’ caregivers and veterans to thank them for their support. The Times partnered with the Freedom Alliance, the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, Mission BBQ and The Washington Redskins Salute program for the private event for veterans.

The following evening, Sweeney attended the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, commonly known as the “nerd prom” as The Washington Times’ guest. Sweeney wore a gown by Jovani.

“It was an honor and a career highlight to be able to go to such a once in a lifetime event and I cannot thank The Washington Times enough for including me,” Sweeney expressed.

The weekend of events in the nation’s capital was a very moving one for Sweeney. Having recently performed at the CPAC and NRA conventions, Sweeney strives to be an involved citizen and patriot throughout the country. Sweeney places great value on those who serve, and those who care for the country’s service men and women; Sweeney’s family stems from a long line of relatives who have served in various branches of the military, including her husband’s service in the US Air Force.

Sweeney, who most recently toured with Miranda Lambert, is set to play Love City Country Music Festival in the U.S. Virgin Islands on May 16 as well as the Bud Light Plaza Stage during CMA Fest in Nashville, Tenn. For a full list of tour dates, visit www.sunnysweeney.com.

CRYSTAL GAYLE BRINGS COUNTRY MUSIC OF YOUR LIFE TO FANS EVERYWHERE

Nashville, Tenn. (April 28, 2015) – Country Music icon Crystal Gayle is helping to promote the music that has defined not only her career, but also her life. She has teamed up with Time-Life to promote the brand new collection Country Music of Your Life: For The Good Times. Available in both a ten and eighteen-CD package, the set includes many of the format’s greatest hits of all time – songs that influenced the singer greatly growing up.

“Country Music has always been a part of my life,” reflected Crystal. “My sisters, Loretta, Peggy Sue, and I grew up singing Country tunes. These songs are timeless.”

Indeed. The music on the set includes hits such as “Amanda” (Waylon Jennings), “Still” (Bill Anderson), “She Thinks I Still Care” (George Jones), and “Here You Come Again” (Dolly Parton). Gayle co-hosts the thirty-minute infomercial for the set with fellow hitmaker Charley Pride. She is represented on the collection with five of her biggest hits – “Why Have You Left The One You Left Me For,” “Talking In Your Sleep,” “I’ll Get Over You,” “You’ll Never Miss A Real Good Thing (Till He Says Goodbye,” and 1977’s million selling “Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue.”

Of course, that is just a few of the massive hits that Crystal Gayle has enjoyed. Starting her career in 1970 with “I’ve Cried (The Blue Right Out Of My Eyes),” Gayle charted one Billboard hit after another for close to two decades. Seventeen of her single releases went all the way to the top of the magazine’s Country Singles chart. She has also won three ACM and two CMA Awards for Female Vocalist of the Year, and her 1977 album We Must Believe In Magic was the first by a female Country performer to be certified platinum – signifying sales in excess of one million copies. Gayle is currently working on a new disc, slated for release later this year of Country classics.

RANDY HOUSER DELIVERS ACOUSTIC SET TO FANS AFTER WEATHER FORCES TOADLICK FESTIVAL SHUTDOWN

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 27, 2015) – High winds and rain couldn’t hold Randy Houser back from performing at the Toadlick Festival in Dothan, Ala. on Saturday, April 25. Although storms damaged the outdoor stage and much of the artists’ equipment, Houser stepped up to the plate and worked with festival promoters to rig a small PA system so he could play an acoustic set for the diehard fans who were willing to brave the wet weather. Craig Campbell was the only other performer on the night's lineup who performed before the festival was forced to shut down.

Check out a clip of Houser’s performance here.

As reported by WTVY 4, “the festival was cancelled before many of [the night’s] headliner’s could take the stage – including Ronnie Milsap, Sam Hunt and Alabama. There was a silver lining to the dark clouds: Randy Houser and Craig Campbell did perform acoustically for the crowd.”

Fans tweeted their appreciation, with @Uwantcountry saying, “Shout out to @RandyHouser for braving the weather @ToadlickMusic yesterday and making the fans happy!” and @HashtagBritt writing, “Thank you so much for coming out for us @RandyHouser. Blew me away! @ToadlickMusic.” @MirandaJo05 added: "I have so much respect for @RandyHouser and @craigcampbellTV for sticking out the weather and still playing! #Toadlick2015 #acoustic"

Houser's new single, “We Went,” is currently at country radio and debuted on Rolling Stone Country today, April 27. Written by Justin Wilson, Matt Rogers and John King, the song is the first taste of Houser’s forthcoming studio album on Stoney Creek Records. He will continue to perform headlining shows and joins Luke Bryan’s Kick The Dust Up Tour, commencing May 1 in Canada and May 8 in the U.S.

KENNY CHESNEY'S 'THE BIG REVIVAL 2015' HITS STADIUMS

Joins Jason Aldean’s BURN IT DOWN To Open San Francisco’s Levi’s Stadium May 2

PRESS RELEASE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Monday, April 27, 2015) – When Kenny Chesney kicked off his The Big Revival 2015 Tour with two sold-out nights at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, he knew it was just the tip of the iceberg. The man who’s the only country artist in Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Acts of the Last 25 Years – headlining for only 12 – is the most alive when he’s taking his always high-energy shows to the largest venues.

Saturday, May 2, Chesney merges THE BIG REVIVAL TOUR with Jason Aldean’s wildly successful BURN IT DOWN TOUR for the first of a dozen co-headlining shows. The pair will open San Francisco’s brand new Levi’s Stadium – bringing high impact country to the Bay area for one definitive night of music.

“There is nothing I love more than playing stadiums,” Chesney says. “The energy and the size of the stage lets me get close to so many more people – and that is a feeling unlike any other. To be able to join up with Jason for these shows this summer, I think it’s the kind of night people won’t forget.”

The man The Wall Street Journal deemed “The King of the Road” has a special place in his heart for the City By The Bay. As he says, “San Francisco has always been an amazing place for us. I’ve had Steve Miller and Sammy Hagar join me onstage there... The fans come early, they stay late – and they always send us into multiple encores. If this is how we’re kicking off the year in stadiums, this is going to be a pretty strong bar-setter.”

Chesney, a 4-time Country Music Association and 4-time consecutive Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year, has had 26 #1s, 13 #1 Albums and sold in excess of 30 albums. Heralded as “The People’s Superstar” by The Los Angeles Times, his summer concerts are legend:  indeed, many people plan their vacations around his tour schedule.

Jason Aldean, whose Old Boots, New Dirt became his second #1 Billboard Top 200 Album chart debut, is known for high intensity shows, his sense of true grit and songs that capture the way his fans genuinely live. Country's most downloaded male artist and three-time Academy of Country Music Male Vocalist of the Year has extended his wildly successful BURN IT DOWN TOUR into 2015, including the dozen stadium shows with Chesney.

This pairing extends beyond the two headliners. Joining them in San Francisco will be Jake Owen, known for his laid back, but invested take on country – including the #1 hits “Beachin’,” “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” and “What I Ain’t Got.” Also on the bill is Luke Bryan/Thomas Rhett/Florida Georgia Line hit songwriter/emerging artist Cole Swindell, whose hit #1 on his own “Chillin’ It” and “Hope You Get Lonely Tonight.”

Kenny Chesney’s THE BIG REVIVAL TOUR is presented by Corona Light & Blue Chair Bay Rum.

LOCASH PREMIERE ON COUNTRY NOW's "LIVE FROM BLACKBIRD"

Duo to Participate in Country Now Facebook Chat Tonight, Monday, April 27, at 7 p.m. ET

NEW YORK, NY (April 27, 2015) – Rising country music duo LOCASH announce their premiere on the most-viewed and highest-rated country music dedicated YouTube channel, Country Now. Behold, brand-new acoustic video performances of their latest chart-climbing radio single “I Love This Life,” and first No. 1 smash hit, “You Gonna Fly” on Country Now’s “Live From Blackbird” video series.

In support, LOCASH will take over the Country Now Facebook page on Monday, April 27 at 7 p.m. EDT/ 6 p.m. CDT to answer fan-submitted questions in real time. Fans are invited to log on to Facebook.com/CountryNow to participate in the live discussion.

The critically acclaimed series, "Live From Blackbird’ was designed to give country artists the opportunity to go into an intimate studio setting at the famed Blackbird Studios and play. The unique setting and stylized, acoustic performances have included the likes of Parmalee, Joe Nichols, Eli Young Band, Love and Theft and John Butler Trio. Stay tuned to Country Now’s “Live From Blackbird” for forthcoming debuts of LOCASH’s brand-new song, “I Know Somebody,” and poignant ballad, “Shipwrecked.”

For the past ten-plus years they’ve paid their dues in Nashville, LOCASH has shown no reservations when it comes to blending the various musical styles they love in order to push the envelope of the traditional country sound, but what’s at the heart of the two men and their music couldn’t be more “country,” by any true Southerner’s standards. With heartfelt, solid convictions, old-fashioned storytelling and strong lyrical artistry at the root of their songs like “Best Seat In The House,” an emotional ode to the father of the duo’s Chris Lucas, and newly-penned “Shipwrecked,” influenced by John Legend, the duo has been turning heads with their songwriting skill since being discovered by songwriter Jeffrey Steele.

“I Love This Life” is their fastest-rising single to-date and is swiftly approaching the Top 50 on country radio. LOCASH will perform in a city near you soon as part of the 2015 I Love This Life Tour, presented by Kicker® Audio. Full list of tour dates below.

RANDY HOUSER RELEASES SIZZLING NEW SINGLE “WE WENT” JUST IN TIME FOR SUMMER

Rolling Stone Country debuts "one of country's biggest voices'" first cut from forthcoming album

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (April 27, 2015) – Randy Houser races into the summer with nitro-charged new single “We Went,” the first cut from his as-yet-untitled forthcoming 2015 album.

Rolling Stone Country debuted “We Went” on Monday afternoon and it is already at Country radio and will be available for fans for purchase and streaming beginning Monday, May 18. The single comes following an impressive run for the singer, songwriter and powerhouse vocalist after three No. 1 singles and a Top 3 entry from his 2013 album “How Country Feels.” Rolling Stone Country called “We Went” “a churning, you-and-me-against-the-world storyline and a thumping beat, Houser's tongue-twisting tale (his delivery is the essence of rapid-fire) follows a couple of modern-day Bonnie and Clydes as they lead police on a wild chase,” and the song marks something different for the Mississippi singer.

“I wanted to lead with 'We Went' as the first single from the new record because it was so different for me. The song is about hanging out, a little bit of danger, running from the cops - all things I grew up doing (well, maybe avoiding the cops is more accurate)," Houser told Rolling Stone Country. "But rhythmically and lyrically it's more progressive than what I've ever done. Justin [Wilson] told me they put this song together like a puzzle, and I think they did a great job with the alliteration and how the lyrics fit together seamlessly."

Wilson, Matt Rogers and John King wrote the song with How Country Feels--Houser’s 2013 critically-acclaimed third studio record--producer Derek George helming the recording session.

While the new Stoney Creek Records album, Houser’s fourth, is still a few seasons away, fans can hear new material like “We Went” out on the road this summer as Houser continues his yearlong sojourn with Luke Bryan, kicking off the Kick the Dust Up Tour starting May 1 for a string of dates in Canada.

Bring your camera, although there is a barrier and you are only allowed to take photos from the audience side of the barricade unless you are CMA media credentialed with an official CMA laminate. This WILL be checked. This area tends to fill rather quickly and there are a limited number of folding chairs available first come, first served so get there early. It also gets very hot as the stage is set up on the pavement and people will be standing very close to you, sometimes closer than you may like, so bring plenty of water and comfortable shoes in case you don't get a chair. Remember your sunscreen, memory cards and a sharpie for autographs! The artists are great about signing after their shows at this stage.

EXCLUSIVE ARTIST INTERVIEW: A FEW MINUTES WITH MO PITNEY

If you're a country music fan, I mean a TRIED and TRUE fan of twang, tradition and storytelling, you need to tune into Mo Pitney. Remember the name because Mo is the real deal, the next voice of traditional "sop grandma's homemade biscuits up with some gravy" country music. Trust me, country isn't dead, it's just starting to come back to life with a revival of the likes of new artists like of Mo, Craig Campbell, Sturgill Simpson, Cody Wickline, and Mary Sarah. These new artists are knocking at country's door and fans are starting to answer the door with an enthusiastic response.

I was invited to sit in on Mo's radio tour stop at WQDR 94.7 FM in Raleigh, NC on Friday, April 24 and I thought I knew what to expect, but Mo blew right past my expectations and stopped me dead in my tracks. On the way down, my main thought was "God don't let him play 'Clean Up on Aisle Five"" because bursting into tears in front of a room of radio industry personnel, his rep from Curb Records and Mo himself isn't on my list of "Must Do's". That song always hits me and never fails to bring the tears to the surface so I knew this was a real possibility. When I arrived a few minutes late and walked around the corner, I didn't hear a room full of laughter or random talking, what I did hear was simply a guitar and this amazing voice singing the last few notes of the song I wanted to yet didn't want to hear, so I took a deep breath of relief and walked in the room only to hear him start a song called "Just a Dog". Being the owner of an 11 year old dog and having put my other dog to sleep just a few years ago, I know this wasn't gonna be good for me. I'm a sucker for dog songs but I had no idea about the impact of this song. As he sang about his loss, I felt the loss of mine all over again, along with half the room. You could look around the room and, in the dead silence, "hear" the emotion through sniffles, gentle clearings of the throat and you could see every other people dabbing at red rimmed eyes with tissue. That's what country music is all about, the ability to tell a story that affects the listener in one way or another. Mo Pitney is the "ePITome" of the country songwriter. From his baseball cap to his cowboy boots, Mo's blood pumps pure country and those roots run deep into his soul and he offers no apologies for staying true to who he is and for refusing to fit the current country mold. I love this about him.

Mo's single, "Country" is currently playing on country radio and I really hope to see more stations add it because more people need to hear this amazing artist and even more than hear him, experience him. Mo's music is a gift that every country station should give their listeners. He reaches far beyond the whiskey, his drive is much stronger than the most tricked out jacked up truck and he doesn't need to sing about tight jeans or white tank tops to make an impression. All it takes is a simple song, one that comes from his heart and one that means something. That's Mo, simple yet significant. He's a gentle soul with stories to tell and memories to create.

KYLE JENNINGS IS ABOUT PATRIOTISM, THE AMERICAN SPIRIT AND BEING "FREEDOM STRONG"

Freedom Strong”is the debut release from Kyle Jennings’ upcoming new album ‘Roots & Wings’ which is slated to drop later this year. It will be released online and at iTunes this Memorial Day, Monday May 25th. “Freedom Strong” is a patriotic song written and dedicated to the resiliency of the American spirit and serves as a memorial to the fallen heroes who paved the way for our country’s independence as well as honoring the on-going sacrifice of the military servicemen and women, law enforcement, fire, first responders and patriots everywhere.

“Freedom Strong”
Words and Music by Kyle Jennings

When the walls are closin’ in we choose to stay
When the odds aren’t on our side we find a way
When faced with the impossible there’s a spirit that’s unstoppable
A sacred creed that keeps us keepin’ on

We come from every corner of the earth
Some from places most have never heard
And with an iron fist and tempered pride we stand together side by side
United, tough, and tangled into one

We are freedom strong
We are freedom strong

We fight for peace we stand up for the weak
We were build on blood and sweat and crazy dreams
We remember all the heroes past
Purple hearts and folded flags
One nation under God we carry on

We are freedom strong
But what’s that mean
It’s faith and hope and love and all that’s in between
And it’s a promise made through sacrifice
That breaks the chains and pays the price
And it echoes when our final breath is drawn
We are freedom strong

Together there’s no challenge we can’t meet
No enemy we face we can’t defeat
We’re Americans we’re proud and true
The fabric of our red, white, and blue
Challenge one and man you’ve got us all

We are freedom strong
We are freedom strong
We are freedom strong
We are freedom strong
We are freedom strong
We are freedom strong
We are freedom strong
We are freedom strong

Freedom Strong” will be released both digitally and conventionally at Kyle’s website www.kylejenningsmusic.com and at iTunes on Memorial Day May 25th.  Downloads will be available for $1.29 and hard copy CD singles will be available for purchase for $5. 100% of proceeds from the receipts of “Freedom Strong” will be donated to Project 13:13 Foundation a non-profit organization co-founded by Jennings that works in conjunction to benefit returning wounded American servicemen and women much like Wounded Warrior Project.

The recording of the song was initially funded by a GoFundMe campaign Jennings setup with the code name “Operation Freedom Strong”. The idea was that if the project was supported and the goal was met, he would donate all sales of the song to charity benefitting wounded American servicemen and women. 6 days later the budget was raised and the recording process began.

In addition to offering the single up to charity, Jennings also requested his supporters send in pictures of any family or friends who were military past present or future. One submission will be selected to be utilized in the design of the cover art for the single and the remaining photos would be featured in the video, which will be released on the same day. Pictures of relatives from WWI, WWII, Vietnam, Operation Desert Storm, and Operation Iraqi Freedom as well as active duty service started flooding in. Jennings’ vision to coordinate this launch project as a family release began to take shape.
